The Intruder

It was nighttime on the Boiling Isles,and Luz was recording King on her phone.

Luz:"And here,we have the most fearsome creature in the world,the king of demons. Facing his natural enemy,the ducky sock."

King tears the ducky sock apart with his claws,and started stomping on the remains.

King:"Where are you now,ducky sock?"

Luz:"So,why'd you call me here again?"

King:"Oh,yeah."

He climbs on top of a box.

King:"Human Luz,you've been so obsessed with witchcraft,that you haven't learned anything about my kind. Prepare yourself for..."

He unveils a board,showing drawings of various demons.

King:"Demons 101. Demons like me are grim tricksters of the twilight,creatures of sulfur and bone."

Julie:"And sharp little claws."

King:(sighs)"And sharp little claws. True. We live only to create chaos and misery. Our only weaknesses are purified water,and passive-aggressive comments."

Luz:"Aw. You guys are so sensitive."

King:"Well,even demons have inner demons."

He then shows a picture of a demon with a shell and pink skin.

King:"The most powerful demon of all,is the Snaggleback. He is a-"

Julie:"Troublemaker."

King:"True,Julie. Luz,pay attention. This information could save your life someday."

Luz:"No. No. I am so paying attention. This is my paying attention face."

She points to her face,and thunder strikes.

Julie:"Damn. Looks like it's gonna rain."

Luz:"I love the rain."

Julie:"It's not ordinary rain,Luz. It's Boiling Rain."

Luz:"Boiling Rain?"

She goes outside,and kneels next to a flower.

Luz:"I bet you love the rain too,little buddy."

As soon as she said that,a raindrop burns the flower apart.

Luz:"What?"

Julie pulls Luz back inside.

Julie:"That is what Boiling Rain looks like."

Eda and Victor come running in.

Eda:"Boiling Rain!"

Victor:"Back inside,now!"

Victor and Eda jump back inside through the front door.

Eda:"That was close. But the important thing is,you didn't get hurt."

Luz:"Yep. Not hurt."

Everyone in Bonesborogh was struggling to protect themselves from the Boiling Rain. Willow was trying to take her plants inside without burning herself.

Willow:"Ow,ow,ow,ow."

She then closez her blinds. King puts a bandage over Luz's arm,since she had a small burn mark. King also had a bandage over the bridge of his nose.

King:"Look. Now we're boo-boo buddies."

Luz squeals in happiness.

Luz:"Oh my gosh,I love you so much. A Boiling rainstorm on the Boiling Isles."
