Hunter was busy sewing a sigil onto his cloak. Flapjack lands on his shoulder and chirps at him.

Shadow:"What the hell are you doing,Hunter?"

Hunter:"Adding a new design to my cloak. You like it?"

Shadow:"Yeah,I guess it looks fine."

There was a knock on the door. Hunter opens it,and sees two Coven guards standing outside. One passes him a letter from Belos.

Hunter:(reading)"My duties are keeping me busy. I entrust you and Shadow to lead the Coven Heads today. Consider this a test for both of you."

Shadow:"A test,huh? How hard can it be?"

Shadow and Hunter go over to the throne room,to see the Coven Heads coming out.

Hunter:"Good. You're all here. We can get started-"

The Coven Heads push past Shadow and Hunter,ignoring them.

Shadow:"Hey! Come back here!"

Hunter pushes the doors open,and Shadow follows him. Both of them see Darius and Eberwolf looking at a few scrolls.

Hunter:"Darius! Eberwolf! Why is everyone leaving?"

Shadow:"Yeah. We were supposed to be in a meeting."

Darius:(sighs)"Good morning to you too,little princes'. We've decided to reschedule the meeting,so go play arts and crafts or... whatever it is you do."(sees Hunter's cloak)"Oh. Looks like you've already started."

Darius grabs Hunter's cloak,and takes a look at it.

Darius:"This is impressively bad. Wait,is this the old Golden Guard sigil?"

Hunter:"Of course it is! And this is not how you treat the Emperor's-"

Darius:"Nephew and apprentice?"

Hunter and Shadow give Darius a furious look.

Darius:"I knew your predecessor. He was my mentor. One of the strongest witches I've ever known. But you... Hmm."

Hunter starts to get nervous,but Shadow still felt firm.

Hunter:"But Belos says that I don't need magic to serve the Coven."

Shadow:"Yeah,and he also says that I can take on Victor and Julie all by myself!"

Darius:"And I say that you Hunter,don't deserve to wear that patch."

Hunter:"Wait,what should I do? How do I... earn it?"

Darius:"Ugh,sweet Mother of Titans. I... I don't know. Find some new recruits for the Emperor's Coven? The best and brightest witches in all the land. Then maybe,you can get this back."

Hunter:"I'll do it."

Darius:"Of course you will. You're very good at doing exactly what you're told."

Darius walks away with Eberwolf,and the doors slam shut.

Hunter:"So since I'm going to find some new recruits for the Emperor's Coven,what are you going to do,Shadow?"

Shadow:"I'm going to kill Victor and Julie once and for all."

Hunter:"Isn't this 'Julie' your family?"

Shadow:"You and Belos are my family,now."

Hunter:"Are you sure about this?"

Shadow:"Yeah. I am."

In a forest,Willow is working out relentlessly with her palisman Clover helping her.

Willow:(narrating)"After years of thinking I wasn't good enough,I finally found something I can be good at. Something I wanna be good at. Switching to the Plant Track was just the beginning. I'm on my way to becoming the witch that I wanna be."
