After Abaddon repaired Wednesday's eardrums by using a bit of his symbiote Wednesday was checking out her new hearing as the two made their way to the archery range. Xavier stood in the open archery range taking a shot as Wednesday and Abaddon came. Just as Xavier looked to his right he froze.

Xavier: I-I was never told you would be coming too.

Abaddon: Not my style.

Xavier quickly looked away, turning his attention to Wednesday. It was clear he was terrified of Abaddon; honestly, Wednesday had to agree Abaddon was terrifying and that's exactly why he liked him. Xavier quickly tried to start a conversation.

Xavier: So um you ever shot a bow and arrow before?

Wednesday: Only on live targets.

Abaddon: I used to. Would go hunting with it.

Wednesday: Is that so?

Xavier: Oh um, So what did you hunt with it?

Abaddon: Humans.

Xavier froze in fear while Wednesday looked curious.

Wednesday: Must been annoying.

Abaddon: Other than a selected few, I don't think so. They scream when are afraid and many freeze in place from fear It is more fun when they run.

Xavier was nearly on the point of shitting his pants. He knew Abaddon was a mass murderer everyone in the school knew but to have brutality to such an extent, he just didn't know what to say other than living in constant fear of the fact that he could be killed any moment and nobody would be able to do anything. Xavier quickly grabbed an arrow from the side and started instructing Wednesday, who looked bored. Xavier shot the arrow hitting the outside. He turned to Wednesday.

Xavier: Any questions?

Wednesday: When was the last time you saw your roommate Rowan?

Xavier: You mean the one that was killed by a monster?

Wednesday and Abaddon stared at him blankly.

Xavier: The Harvest festival. I haven't talked to him since but his side of the room was all packed this morning. Rowan's always been a little off, but he's been more erratic in the last couple of weeks. You know, telekinesis can mess with your head. It started to freak me out.

Xavier took another bad shot.

Xavier: So what's the deal with you and Tyler?

The question caught Wednesday and Abaddon off guard a bit.

Xavier: I'm sorry, were you the only one who got to ask non-archery questions?

Wednesday: There is no deal. He was doing me a favour driving me out of town.

Xavier: Yeah, word of advice. Steer clear.

Abaddon: Like your mother?

Suddenly every guy felt like somebody needed medical attention for an injury that felt like a burn. Xavier was hit right it hurt, and even Wednesday felt her affection towards Abaddon increase a bit.

Wednesday: Why? because he's a normie.

Xavier: Tyler and his friends are a bunch of jerks. They can't stand that this school's propping up their Podunk town.

Wednesday: Say's the boy whose life was served on a silver platter

Xavier: Hey, girls in glass houses-

Wednesday: Should throw bigger stones.

Abaddon: Do you want to add boulders to that list?

Wednesday: Yes.
