The King In Black

Chapter 20

The mayor looked terrified at Abaddon's gesture of a plane going down. Abaddon raised his hands and clapped twice and five giant TV screens rose, showing each of the teams reaching their islands. Back at the other location Mable, Dipper, Wendy and Soos watched the show. Soos was a big chubby guy wearing light brown shorts, a blue-grey shirt question mark on it and a cap of the same colour as his shirt.

Mable: Look giant TVs in TV!

Dipper: Mable! That's the thing that caught your attention, not the fact that he just gestured that people are going to die!

Mable: He was joking. There is no way he would do such a thing.

Wendy: Yeah dipper there is no way something like that would happen. Can you imagine the backlash the guy would face?

Dipper: Maybe you are right.

Back at the lake, everyone focused on a screen as the team Pit found something. The members of Pit were searching for their flag. Suddenly they came across a strange old house. They could see that it was made a long time ago as the wood used to make it look rotten, old dried-out trees surrounded the house, and the windows had cracks in them. A slight wind blew and the door opened with a creaking sound. Inside they saw their flag. 

Pit#1: Look the flag!

The door closed by another gust of wind. All of the four rushed inside of the house but the flag wasn't there. Lake's screen camera shifted and everyone could see the team inside of the house.

Pit#2: It was just here.

Suddenly the door shut behind them with a slam.

Pit#3: I don't where this is going.

Pit#4: Let's split up. 

The team split up. One went upstairs, two were on the ground floor and the last found a stairway leading down to a basement. The camera angle shifted as they first saw the guy who had gone upstairs. He opened one of the doors and was greeted by an old-looking bedroom. The room had basic things such as a closet, a dressing mirror, a bedside table and a king-size bed. Shutting the door behind him. The guy began to look around for a flag, he scratched his arm as he felt an itch but he continued on. The camera view shifted to the guys on the ground floor. One of them was looking around an old-looking kitchen. Opening one of the lower cupboards he looked inside and put his hand in as it was too dark to search just by looking.

Pit#2: Aggh!

Suddenly something bit him. He quickly pulled his hand back examining the wound. It seems that a rat had but him. The other guy on the ground floor was looking around in the living room. The camera finally shifted to the last Pit member who was looking around in the basement but it was so dark he nearly couldn't see anything. Soon he found a light switch and turned it on. The basement was dirty with dust collecting everywhere. The boy's eyes landed on a funny-looking purple bear spring. The boy whistled seeing the suit.

Pit#4: That looks so cool and it's going to be even cooler if I put this on!

The guy quickly climbed inside the suit and walked around, finding it very comfortable. The camera changed again and back to the first guy. All the audience could see him furiously scratching himself to the point he was red. The guy tried opening the door. 

Pit#1: Help!

They could hear him scream as he kept scratching himself. The camera changed again and looked at the guy who had been bitten. The guy was red as he was vomiting badly. 

Weems: Get that kid out. He's sick.

Abaddon: Nope.

Mayor: What!? He's sick! He must be taken to a hospital

Abaddon: Don't want to.

The camera changed back to the guy in the spring suit. They could see he was sweating and tired as he climbed the stairs feeling the weight of the suit. 

Pit#4: Maybe it was not a good idea.

A bit of the guy's sweat fell on one of the locks. The locks in the suit failed. First, the guy's skin was pierced with what felt like a large needle all over his body. The guy screamed and a domino effect took place. The suit collapsed on the user stopping the guy from making any movement. First, his back was pierced by metal rods to keep his back straight up. Next up his arms and legs were encased in a metal cage and stretched. The guy screamed in pain as his arms, wrists, fingers, legs, ankles and toes broke one by one. Then his jaw was pierced by metal rods and stretched upwards till his skin tore. Next, his head was crushed his eyes were forced out and replaced with plastic yellow eyes. The guy couldn't move at all and the shaking of the suit made him lose his balance causing him to fall back onto the basement floor. The fall caused more of the spring lock to fail and caused it to dig deeper into the guy's body. His vocal cords were crushed taking his voice away as he couldn't do anything but bear the pain. The entire world was silent as they watched in horror as the guy silently suffered in agony. The camera changed again as the first guy was scratching himself so hard that his peeling it off. The guy kept screaming for help as he slammed himself against the door. Suddenly the door broke open. The third guy hearing the noise made his way back to the lobby and froze. The guy who was bitten was on the floor shivering, the sound of something falling caught his attention. The first guy had fallen from the first floor still scratching his now exposed muscles. 

Abaddon: Hello Pit!

Suddenly Abaddon's voice echoed in the house. The guy looked around in confusion.

Abaddon: I know what you are thinking and it's wrong! What you should be thinking is who are you going to save!!  

Pit#3: What!?

A small counter rose from the floor and it had one injection on it. The boy looked at it. 

Abaddon: What you are seeing is the solution to those two's agony. Here's the catch it is just enough for one person. Who are you going to choose?

The boy looked horrified as he realized the situation but a brilliant idea by his lizard brain.

Pit#3: I'll just split it between them.

Everyone was silent. The audience thought that the guy had found a solution to his problems. They began cheering for the guy. In the crowd, Anna and Valeria were the only ones quiet. Anna glanced at the younger one as she had an expressionless face. A guy approached them Anna recognised him as Lucas Walker the mayor's son.

Lucas: Hey Valeria.

Valeria didn't answer just kept staring forward but Lucas backed down.

Lucas: I just wanted to ask if you are free, do you want to get some coffee?

Valeria: No.

Lucas: Come on. It's just coffee. No funny business.

Valeria looked at Lucas with an emotionless deadly stare that unnerved him.

Valeria: Lucas. I will replace your eyes with your balls and shove your dick down your throat and watch you choke on it with a cup of coffee. Is that what you want?

Lucas backed up slightly.

Lucas: Damn woman chill. Just say no.

Valeria: I did but apparently you don't understand that kind of language.

Lucas left scared. Anna smirked at Valeria.

Anna: That's one hell of a rejection.

Valeria: I know one or two things about hell and somebody would suffer it.

Anna:'Poor Abaddon. Maybe I can cheer him up later?'

Back on the stage. As everyone, they stopped as laughter began spreading. They looked where it came from and found Abaddon roaring with laughter it took him a few seconds to calm down.

Abaddon: Do you think I haven't thought about it?

The crowd went silent as most watching felt scared and shocked.

Abaddon: If you decide to pull out the needle after just giving one of them half of the antidote. The person would die in agony. As their insides melt down slowly into a sauce. So who are you going to choose?~

Abaddon roared in laughter as the hopelessness of the situation finally sunk into everyone.
