The afternoon sky was covered with the usual dark clouds that brought rain on Jericho however this time it felt ominous to even the most vile creatures that moved the shadows of the small town. Abaddon cracked his knocks as he looked at the undead warrior before him. It stood at least 8 feet in height. With its arm blade itself being around 6 feet in length. The three socket dogs surrounded him however Abaddon didn't pay them any attention Keira would handle them. He trusted the girl. Slowly red goo-like substance covered Abaddon and revealed his monstrous form. Now the redhead stood at 9 feet.

Without any warning, the undead warrior charged at Abaddon. The monster's right hand changed into a sharp blade and met the warrior's blade. As if their clashing was a signal, the dogs attacked unfortunately they never made it anywhere close to Abaddon. Keira intercepted them clawing one of the dogs in two. The two humanoids pulled back and clashed again. Abaddon kicked one of the undead's legs taking his balance away. The undead tried to stab Abaddon who had the same idea causing their blades to clash again and pushing the two away from each other. They charged at their opponent, and their blades met. Abaddon let the undead overpower him before he unexpectedly punched him in the face rattling his bones. The redhead stabbed his sword arm right through the undead's chest. His arm reverted back to his sharp claws and he in a swift moment pushed them upwards cutting the warrior's head in six pieces. The skeleton fell on its back. Abaddon turned around and saw Keira standing in the middle of a massacre of the three socket dogs. She crushed the final one under her bony paw and let out a roar of victory. After cleaning and making sure no evidence was left behind of the fight. By the time Abaddon was done it began to rain. He made his way back to the ruins of the first meeting house. He walked into the ruin and saw Wednesday still in the sheltered area he put her. He walked closer and sat down on one of the most ancient-looking wooden stool he ever saw. Abaddon felt a hand climb on his shoulder. He felt Thing sign him a question.

Abaddon: Yes. I took care of the problem. Did anything happen when I was gone?

Thing signed at him. Nothing happened while he was gone. A gasp came from behind him. Abaddon looked back and quickly made his way to the recently awakened Wednesday. He supported her, helping her up.

Abaddon: What did you see?

Wednesday: The same girl.

Abaddon: The one in the painting.

Wednesday: Her name is Goody Addams. She lived here in Jericho with her family before Crackstone killed all the outcasts by burning them in the meeting house. Goody escaped.

Abaddon noticed something he never thought he would ever see in a million years from Wednesday. They say the eyes are the window to the soul and the monster saw the impossible. Fear...he saw fear in Wednesday Addam's eyes as if she witnessed the curliest acts of humanity. Something she believed would never come to pass but humanity proved her wrong. abandon quickly pushed forward to keep Wednesday's mind off what she saw.

Abaddon: And now she randomly decided to haunt your dreams from the afterlife?

Wednesday: She said I am some sort of key. I don't understand.

Abaddon: Let's not worry about that. We got to get back to the city or else Weems would have your hide.

Abaddon helped Wednesday up. Wednesday opened an umbrella. She was about to offer Abaddon space under it however he seemed to enjoy the soft rain so she kept quiet. Soon the rain stopped and the two reached the town square. Abaddon sat away from others with Enid sitting beside him.

Anna: Hey~

The voice caught their attention. Anna walked closer to the two. She was in semi-formal clothes she also had been appointed as the supervisor for the outreach day of Jericho High School. She took a seat beside Abaddon. Everyone focused on the mayor giving his speech.
