Abaddon slowly opened his eyes as his eternal clock rang. His body was unique, it always has been. He was special. He was different. He wasn't like any other kid. He wasn't someone with needs. He was a completely different breed from a normal human. He felt a weight on top of him. He glanced up to see the most beautiful petite goth girl he had ever laid his eyes on lying on his chest. Long dark hair spread like a starless night over her pale corpse skin. He could feel her fingers on his skin, one of her legs lay across his body, and he could feel her body pressed against his. The sight before him looked like it was made of glass if it wasn't for her slight movement he would have assumed he was looking at a corpse.
He dared, he dared and moved his right arm. Raising a finger he traced it on the smooth pale skin of her face. He heard a small groan come from her. It was a mixture of pleasure of his touch and reluctance to wake up. Abaddon's eyes widened as he felt the emotions. It was the first time he felt something like this. Was it because he had used a part of him when he burst her eardrums in fact, she had shown strength reaching peak human during the Poe Cup. Abaddon pondered on these thoughts as he closed his eyes and tried to make a connection to the part of him.
.
Wednesday slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a very familiar and devilishly handsome face. She softly glided her over his muscular chest feeling the muscles, his skin. She could feel his weight compared to hers. She could feel the heat coming off him. It was disgustingly comfortable and mind-numbing. She felt a large and callused move over her skin, wrapping around her waist. An involuntary hum left her throat strangely she didn't mind.
Abaddon: Slept well?
A voice that put her at ease filled her ears. Wednesday found herself trying to hug him even more.
Wednesday: Like a recently buried corpse.
Her voice was slightly hoarse from how hard she was creaming and moaning last night. Wednesday mentally admitted that she needed help. She had been accepting to the news that she had gotten from Abaddon last night. He did confess that he kissed a princess from another dimension. He didn't know if it was just a casual thing or if something was there. Only Enid and herself knew of this. Wednesday did have a little trouble adjusting to the fact that he had feelings for her and other women. She knew the best course of action would be to wait and watch yet it did fill her up with a bit of insecurity.
But...
From what she experienced Abaddon's stamina was off the charts, there was no way she could handle him alone. She definitely needed help. The thought of asking the others for help filled her with a bit of nausea. She had to accept that there would be others and Abaddon would be spending some alone time with them too. The sex was addicting like a drug and she knew that. Given the man's absurd stamina, he could go all night however she said she would drain him dry and couldn't even partially succeed before getting tired. Wednesday concluded she certainly needed help. Feeling him tuck her hair behind her ear, drew her attention to him again. It was a sickeningly loving action that sped up her cold heart.
Abaddon: We have classes.
Wednesday: I can't feel my legs.
Abaddon's hand slid down from her waist to her thigh. He massaged her leg and Wednesday enjoyed the feeling.
Wednesday: Why do you like thighs so much?
Abaddon blinked as she looked at him a questioning look all of a sudden.
(Abaddon mentally)
Abaddon: No reason.
Wednesday scoffed at his words not believing them.
.
After getting Wednesday back to her room. Abaddon decided to skip classes for the day. It's not like they had the nerve to evaluate him here at Nevermore. He was walking around when he found himself in the botany classroom. He found himself curiously looking around. He found various carnivorous plants, venomous plants, and a few exotic breeds.
Marilyn: Oh! M-Mr Doom. I did not expect to find you here.
Abaddon turned and looked at the botanist teacher of Nevermore. She looked nervous and surprised. It was common his reputation and his height added to the intimidation.
Abaddon: I was just taking a walk, Ms. Thornhill. I hope it's not a problem.
He turned his attention back to a drosera.
Marilyn: O-Of course not! But ar-aren't you supposed to be in class?
Abaddon: Didn't feel like it.
His answer was crisp and short as he kept his eyes on the carnivorous plant in front of him. The teacher stuttered not knowing what to say. He glanced to his left when he heard footsteps come close and stop next to him.
Marilyn: I see that you are interested in them.
It was more of a question than a sentence. He stared at her for a second blankly before turning his attention back to the flesh-eating plant.
Abaddon: They are the black sheep of their families. Whereas their siblings work hard and absorb sunlight leading to their growth yet these plants deceive other living things and eat them almost like humans. It put them in a higher place in the food chain than their other families.
He pulled back and straightened up his back towering over Marilyn. He glanced at her, his bright red eyes pierced her. Fear crept through her as every fibre of her being as her body froze up. Not daring to even breathe.
Abaddon: I view myself the same way. If humans as the normal plants, then the supernatural at Nevermore are the carnivorous plants.
Marilyn: A-nd wh-what about you?
The woman asked a question darling yet her voice trembled and her body reflected that. She was like an open book to him yet there was something about her that didn't add up.
Abaddon: Even though you are the only normal human teacher here. I must say you are bold.
The praise was unexpected and she was taken by surprise. Her face was held with a mixture of surprise, terrified, confused and lost expression. The redhead turned and looked at the carnivorous plants before his eyes landed on another plane. This plant was not carnivorous, it did not create phenomenons to attract others and eat them. It was just like a regular plant yet it was just as if not more deadly than even the carnivorous plants. It reminded him of the familiar and deadly goth girl he spent last night making love. He glanced at Marilyn who was waiting for his answer. He decided to amuse her.
Abaddon: I however am much worse than any plant or creature that was, is or will ever come to live. I exist on the outside of the food chain.
He turned and began walking away from her towards the door. His back turned to her not allowing her to see his expression. He grabbed the door handle and opened it just as he stepped outside He spoke loud enough for her to hear him.
Abaddon: I am the anomaly in the natural order.
.
He was walking down the hallway as he thought about his encounter with Marilyn Thornhill. Something didn't add up to her character. The carnivorous plants, the deadly poisonous plants...the extensively grown and bred nightshade plants. His thoughts were cut off when his phone buzzed. Pulling it out, Abaddon looked at the text he got from Valeria.
Valeria: "Wanna hang out?"
