Being dead wasn't so hard, at least, for the most part. She was able to keep herself hidden from the world, and she didn't have to worry about her birth parents killing anyone to get to her. They believed she was dead, and it worked out well for her.

A few months after being "dead," Jaycee went into labor. She was in pain for hours, before she had to give birth to her little girl. Her adoptive mother was the only one there, and she had to help the girl give birth. It wasn't easy, but at the early hours of the morning, Maeve Aurora Black was born.

Maeve was absolutely adorable, and everyone in the house adored her. Percy was a little jealous of Maeve, since Jaycee's attention was mostly on the baby sometimes. Maeve had been the one to give Percy the most attention, so he had felt like he had a reason to be jealous. After a couple of weeks though, Percy decided that he actually loved the little girl, and wanted to be her favorite uncle.

While living in the Burrow with the whole world thinking she was dead, Jaycee didn't really leave unless it was absolutely necessary. She wore a disguise anytime she left the Burrow, and she made sure that she never brought anyone with her that could blow her cover. Her cover name was Elizabeth Raven, and it seemed to work out for her really well.

Jaycee had decided to help her adoptive mother with all of her brothers and sister when she wasn't busy with her own daughter. Bill and Charlie would send Jaycee letters, asking for helping with school work, or simply just to talk to her. It was a toss-up on what was going to be in the letters when she opened them.

Only a few months after Jaycee's "death," Joker and Harley Quinn ended up back in Arkham Asylum. They had been caught by Batman once again, but Batman had felt bad for them. He knew that their daughter had died, and if he was them, he'd be getting revenge as well. That didn't stop him from getting them locked up once again though.

Joker and Harley were still very distraught and sad over their daughter's death. They had wished that they had protected her more. If she had stayed with them, she wouldn't have died. Joker hated the world for taking her away from them, and Harley blamed everyone for her daughter's death. It was a day they would always remember, and it would always break their hearts.

Jaycee still heard the little voice in her head, but she had been managing to block it out for the most part. She didn't want to be crazy like her parents. She didn't want a voice telling her to hurt someone or kill someone. That scared her, so that's why she tried to ignore the voice as best as she could. She never told anyone about it either, since she was scared about what could happen if they knew about the voice in her head.

Well, actually the only person who knew about the voice in her head was Sirius. He had been the only one she could trust, or she believed the only one she could trust. He kept all of her secrets that she didn't want anyone to know. It worked out well for her, since nobody would know her secrets, and they wouldn't be able to use them against her.

Jaycee missed Sirius. He didn't know she was alive, nor did he know about Maeve. He would most likely never know, but Jaycee hoped that one day he would. She hoped that one day Sirius would get out of Azkaban, and he would finally get to meet Maeve, and Jaycee would get to see her husband again.

Sirius had been given the news that his wife was dead by a ministry worker. The day he found out, Sirius let out a cry that sent a chill down the spines of the other wizards and witches in Azkaban. He was torn and he felt like his life was almost completely taken away from him. There wasn't anything he could do to protect her, and he blamed himself for her death.

Anyhow, as Maeve grew older, she looked more and more like Sirius. She looked almost exactly like her father, and that made Jaycee miss him more. Maeve even had some of his mannerisms, which had shocked Jaycee, since the man had never been around Maeve. Jaycee was almost sure that Sirius' attitude was hereditary, and her daughter had inherited the attitude of her father.

In Maeve's first year of Hogwarts, Jaycee learned that Sirius had escaped Azkaban. This was her chance to see him again, and she could almost feel the happiness busting out of her. So, one night, she snuck out and got herself to Diagon Alley where Sirius had been seen last. She had wandered through Diagon Alley in the shadows for a couple of days before she finally spotted him. Without even thinking about it, Jaycee ran to Sirius and wrapped her arms around him.

Sirius was startled, but when he smelt her familiar scent, he calmed down. She was supposed to be dead, but nobody smelled like her, she was alive. Sirius felt tears stream from his eyes, as he held his wife close to his body.

"I thought you were dead." He murmured, but she shook her head.

"I faked my death to protect Maeve." She replied, causing his eyebrows to furrow.

"Who's Maeve?" He asked, he'd heard her name before, but never her last name, nor had he seen her face.

"Our daughter." She answered, as she grabbed her small wallet from her purse.

She opened her wallet and showed Sirius a picture of his daughter, their daughter, and she was beautiful. He never thought he was going to get a family, but here they were, he had a family. Revenge didn't seem so important anymore, but he knew Jaycee would be there to help him get the revenge he needed to hurt everyone that took him away from his family...
