chapter 6

its only a week before the festival and seonghwa sure is nervous. "seonghwa sunbae, the band is here" one of the 2nd year student council, choi yeonjun, inform him. seonghwa smile and nod. 

the band consist of five members. one of them is jongho. "i didnt know you are in a band jongho" seonghwa says as he signaling them to sit as he goes to pick the important documents. 

jongho just flashes his infamous gummy smile. "im the last member to join, hyung." he says. all the band members sit at the meeting table inside the room. "have you decided on your band name?" seonghwa ask. 

jeongwoo is the one that nod, so seonghwa assume that he is the leader. "its 'golden voice'. also, instead of just yedam, we decided that all of us can sing some of the part" jeongwoo says while the rest of the members just nod.

seonghwa nod and jot it down. suddenly, they hear a knocking on the door, follows by a fluffy hair boy appear. "im sorry im late, hwa hyung" yeosang says before quickly sits beside seonghwa. seonghwa just says its okay and pass the pen and book to yeosang.

yeosang take a good look at the band members before he stop at jongho. he smiles and wave a little, which the latter replies.

"so may i know the final position?" seonghwa ask. "i will the keyboardist. jongho plays the bass guitare, keeho lead guitar, and jeongwoo is the drummer. yedam is supposed to be the main vocal, be he will change it so he can also play the rhythm guitar" taehyun says. 

yeosang jot down all the important information. they continue until the end of meeting. they all says thank you and bid goodbye. 

seonghwa lets out a heavy breath as he put his head inside his arm. "are you okay, hyung?" yeosang ask. seonghwa sigh. "honestly? no. i feel like shit now. but i will get better"he says. yeosang nod and stands up. 

he takes out two cups of ice-cream from the fridge before handing one to seonghwa. "that's the final meeting. there are still first year but i admit that they look amazing" yeosang says.

they agreed to allow each year to bring one performance and meet the student council for permission. 

the third year will perform a short drama before ending it with a ballad. seonghwa doesnt know who will perform it though, cause chan keeps telling him that its a surprise so seonghwa just approve it.

the second year will perform a musical theatre about romeo and juliet but they said that its not the same as the classic one. 

the first year, the group that seonghwa met just now, will do a band performance. 3 songs in total. but they agreed to do more if they have extra time. 

it will be a very interesting festival and seonghwa hope he can enjoy it too.

Knocking can be heard from outside of his room. Seonghwa looks at the time before standing up. He opens the door and meet with already sleepy mingi.

'He looks so cute' seonghwa thoughts. With a bigger size, yellow chick pajama, he looks 10x smaller than he actually is.

"Its past your usual bed time, mingi. Why are you still up?" Seonghwa ask first. "San is not home yet. He usually comes back before 10.30 pm. Its almost 12 now, but he still not home yet. Im worry, hyung" mingi says.

Seonghwa went silent. He looks to hongjoong's side of the room, before look back at mingi. "I will tell hongjoong. You can go to sleep, mingi. Its not good for you to stay up past your usual bed time" he says as he ruffle mingi's hair.

Mingi nod and quickly walks back towards his room. Seonghwa close the door and pick his phone. He search for hongjoong's contact before calling the latter.
