Chapter 14 ~ first times ~

After Nikki had left the table Tap gazed at Chet before speaking,

"I know it's only been a few hours but I missed you"

"I ... missed you too Tap, I wanted to say sorry for being such an asshole last night, I don't know why I behaved that way"

"I think the whole thing has been a little overwhelming for you baby, I'm sorry to spring my feelings onto you so fast but I didn't want to waste time especially when I see Nut and Phong hitting on you" Tap growled.

"I've known them both for years, why should they suddenly start liking me now?" Chet said.

"maybe it's not so sudden, maybe they've been trying to work up their courage, why? you don't like one of them do you? Tap asked.

"not in that way" Chet replied.

"so anyway, you told Nik's that you have someone you like, who is it baby?" Tap was pushing it.

"Tap ... please"

"is that my answer?" Tap asked him again.

Tap's phone suddenly beeped, it was Nikki telling him she suddenly felt a bit sick, probably the jetlag so she was going up to her room early and that she would see him tomorrow.

"I guess I've been ditched, Nik's has gone up to her room, I hope you're not going to ditch me as well?" Tap said.

"she has a room? I wondered if she'd be staying in your cottage with you?" Chet said.

"were you envious?" Tap asked.

"why should I ..."

"she's my publisher and a good friend Chet, we've never harbored any romantic feelings towards each other but anyway back to my question"

"which was?"

"the person you like?"

"why must you embarrass me like this Tap?"

"I could do more, I could place my hand behind your head and pull you towards me slowly before capturing your lips in a passionate kiss" Tap spoke loudly making a few heads turn in their direction.

"ok enough, it's you, are you happy now?"

"extremely, that wasn't difficult was it"

"what are you doing here anyway?" Tap asked him.

"I was bored so I thought I'd come for a stroll"

"then, shall we head back?" Tap asked.

"do you want to?" Chet enquired.

"well, I was only here having dinner with Nik's, Lon and Andy, I'm done, have you had dinner?" Tap asked.

"yes, thank you"

"then let's go" Chet said standing up.

He waved at the bar staff and headed back over the bridge as Tap followed him,

"hey baby wait up, what's the hurry" Tap said as he jogged to catchup with Chet.

"I wanted to do this"

Chet plucked up the courage and reached out to take Tap's hand as they continued down the beach towards their cottages. They strolled along the beach hand in hand listening to the sounds of the waves lapping at the sand, the music from the beach bar becoming distant as they got further away.

Tap brushed his thumb against Chet's hand relishing the contact

"are we dating now then?" he asked.

"I guess we could give it a go" Chet said.

"I'm giving nothing a go baby, I'm all in, you may as well know up front I want to marry you" Tap said.

"you might not like me once you get to know me properly" Chet replied.

"you can love someone but not like them all the time baby, no one is perfect, I imagine there will be many things about me that piss you off too, maybe I'll neglect you when I'm writing? maybe I'll be thoughtless and inconsiderate sometimes? perhaps I'll be selfish or even greedy?"

"greedy? looking at your body you don't strike me as the greedy type" Chet said.

"who said I was talking about food" Tap said stopping and pulling Chet around to face him.

Tap lifted his hands and captured Chet's face pulling him forward before leaning in to take possession of his mouth, his tongue thrust forward and forced it's way inside making Chet groan out loud.

Using one hand to support Chet's head he skimmed his other hand down his back until it reach his hips then Tap pulled forward until their lower bodies made contact. Chet gasped out loud again and Tap's tongue invaded the moist recesses behind his teeth.

The kisses continued until Tap noticed another couple walking in the opposite direction, he pulled Chet's head closer so he couldn't be identified before whispering,

"I think we should take this home, will you stay with me tonight?"

"yes" Chet whispered while nodding.

"then let's go baby, I can't hold back tonight"

The couple passed them by and Tap released Chet's head before they continued walking. It wasn't long before they reached the relative safety of their cottages and Tap wasted no time pulling Chet inside his own because it was a few metres closer.

As soon as they got through the door Tap kicked it shut and turned the key,

"hey, easy with the resort property buster" Chet said before being pushed up against it.

Tap's mouth descended once more, crushing, exploring and tasting, his tongue thrusting inside in time with his hips pushing forwards and grinding against Chet's pulsating hardness. The pair groaned as desire consumed them and suddenly Tap brought his hands down to Chet's bottom and lifted him up folding his thighs around his own hips as he carried him into the bedroom.

Tap sat on the bed, Chet still against him with his legs wrapped around his waist, their hot lengths pressed hard against each other as their kisses became more passionate. Tap lifted his arms and began to unfasten Chet's shirt, the buttons popping open one by one to reveal his pale, toned chest.

Tap's hands were everywhere caressing the smooth skin of Chet's body while Chet leaned back allowing him further access, his head thrown back revealing his long graceful neck. Tap wanted so much to mark him to show everyone that he belonged to him but he couldn't do that, not with his job so instead he leaned forward and licked Chet's throat, kissing it from time to time.

His kisses trailed lower before spinning them around on the bed until Chet was lying beneath him and he towered above. He tore open his own shirt, the buttons popping off everywhere and Chet stared at his muscular physique almost salivating at the beautiful man before him.

"Tap, please, I need you ..." Chet groaned out.

"I know baby, I feel the same but we're not going to rush this"

"but..."

"it's your first time yes?"

Chet blushed profusely whilst nodding,

"it's my first time with a man too, it's my first time making love, we are not rushing this, I want it to be perfect for both of us" Tap said before leaning down to take Chet's lips again.
