When Ian was getting ready for dinner he had decided to go out in style, he knew it was probably the last time he would ever see Phikhuam up close, the idol whom he had been following on social media for years.

He'd seen all of his dramas and lost count of how many times he'd watched them. He couldn't believe he'd jumped on a plane and travelled thousands of miles just to see a person on a holiday resort, someone who didn't know he even existed.

He was ashamed and embarrassed of himself at his age, he had a job that he enjoyed, a great family, good friends, the best and he should be focusing on looking for a real partner, someone to share his life with, not childish dreams

It was time to stop, to end this one sided crush and grow up. He had taken a long leisurely bath and styled his hair with product before dressing in a charcoal grey sweater and adding his silver jewellery as a finishing touch, he looked pretty darn good if he said so himself, even Champ had told him he looked handsome.

Now he was standing in the kitchen of a penthouse suite on a tropical island with the man he had been crushing on for years. He was practically begging him to work for him as a private nurse and offering him a blank cheque, there had to be a catch.

"I'm on vacation" he had told the guy but it made no difference.

The caring side of him wanted to help because Ian knew that Phikhuam was probably struggling with certain things but he was trying to distance himself. The money might be great but it would cost him a whole lot more, the experience would probably ruin him for anyone else.

If he was fortunate enough to meet anyone in the future, he would be forever comparing them to the beautiful man standing before him ...

on the other hand, if he spent a decent amount of time with the guy, he might discover unsavoury things about him. Phikhuam might knock himself off the pedestal that Ian had placed him on and his heart would be liberated.

"can I think about it?" Ian asked him.

"look, I want to say yes but I'm desperate, I don't even know how I'm going to bathe when I get back to the cottage" Phikhuam replied.

"well who looked after you before you came here?"

"my agent but he couldn't come with me and before you ask why I didn't hire someone else, I thought I would be able to manage, basically I need you to start after dinner, I appreciate you're on vacation but it wouldn't be work all the time, you would still be able to do things" Phikhuam added

"can I at least discuss it with my friends?" Ian asked.

"sure"

"one more question though, you're staying in a high end resort, I'm pretty sure Kiri could organise a nurse for you so again, why me?" Ian asked.

"I'm familiar with you, I know we only met once for a short time but it's there and we have mutual friends also you were quick to reprimand me when I was going to drink, basically I trust you" Phikhuam replied.

"ok, let me ask my friends about it, you might wonder what it's got to do with them but our trip was planned for us to spend time with each other" Ian said.

"now I feel bad" Phikhuam said.

"don't feel bad for asking for help, just give me ten minutes" Ian said going to the door of the kitchen and calling his friends back.

Phikhuam nodded and walked away as the other three returned,

"what's going on Ian?" Kan asked.

"he wants to hire me indefinitely to nurse him, he basically said I can name my own fee, what do you guys think?" Ian asked.
