Elena looked about the cafe- er, creepateria nervously. It was loud and crowded, two things she did not like at all, and filled to the brim with people she didn't know. Feeling a hand be placed on her shoulder, the unsettled blonde looked up at the person who the hand belonged to. It was Alban, who gave her a reassuring grin filled with fangs.
"You go find friends and I bring lunch. Heath go with you.", the gray eyed boy said. Elena nodded and stayed with Heath as her friend got in the lunch line, startling the group of chatting monsters in front of him and causing them to move as far away from him as possible. Alban failed to notice this and merely scrolled through his phone as he waited. Elena blinked at the scene before turning to Heath.
"So, do you know where they sit?", she asked him. Heath began to look confused.
"You're gonna have to be more specific, El.", he stated. Elena blinked up at him, now just as confused.
"Why?", she asked, and Heath briefly wondered if all normies could make their eyes look that big.
"Because you never told me who your other friends were.", the fire elemental stated. Elena blinked, recalled that, no, she had not mentioned her other friends names, and face palmed at the realization.
"Right. Well, most of them are scaremores, so you probably know them on some level, but their names are- ", the green eyed girl started, only to stop herself at the call of a familiar voice.
"Elena darling, you're here! And not a moment too soon!", the regal voice of Cepos De Nile called out as he sashayed over to the girl who had won his affections in all his imposing glory. Ghoulia trailed after him with her ever present laptop and clipboard in hand, looking completely in the zone with her situation, and Heath could only watch in shock as Monster High's resident Mythic Bitch waltzed up to his crush with a genuine smile on his face and spoke to her like they'd known each other for years.
"I forgot I've got to hold fearleading tryouts during lunch today. I truly am sorry, I can't believe it slipped my mind- but don't even think about saying we should reschedule! You're more than welcome to come sit in the gym with us. Come now, we don't have time to waste!", Cepos said excitedly and quickly. Elena barely had time to process what he was saying.
"You don't have to- oh, okay.", she started, only to quickly give into her friend's demands when he took her hand in his and began to gently but purposefully drag her with him. Ghoulia silently and dutifully followed, and Heath didn't really know what to do but followed anyway after shooting a quick text to Alban telling him where they would be.
All Elena could do as she got dragged along by a Cepos was sigh as she realized just how chaotic her day had become, but ended up smiling as her joy overcame her exasperation.
She thinks she might like this kind of chaos.

A few minutes later, Elena was sitting on the bleachers in the school gym, watching Cepos attempt to lead several male and female students through a routine. He had some success, with members of last year's team (Clawdius and Draculaur) doing well, while most of the others, save for Franky, struggled. The blonde girl watched the graceful movements of her mummy friend, enraptured. He was really pretty when he was doing... cheerleading? No, they called it fearleading.
Elena took a bite of what Alban had said was screamy mac n' cheese and watched casually as several young ladies and men fell over due to not having the correct balance required for fearleading. Her eyes widened as she chewed her food. Monster food looked more than mildly suspicious to her, but once you got past the way it looked, it was really good. Swallowing her food, Elena smiled, took another bite of her meal and took a sip of her green soda that had fog spilling out of the top. The meal really was delicious once you got past the green color of the sauce and the eyeballs that were scattered about it.
