AIDAN:

Otamayomi and I walked side by side as we strolled around the compound, talking and laughing with one another.I looked at Otamayomi and I smiled. She looked absolutely breathtaking in a dress just as simple as her blue night gown, and having a girl as amazing as her by my side made me even happier.
My thoughts went back to the game that took place nearly an hour ago. I remembered she had decided to take up something that was not of her concern, it was none of her business. She decided take up the dare for Tihana anyways because she didn't want her to be bullied any further and possibly, humiliated. My admiration for her grew even deeper.
She kissed me. I remembered.
A smile crawled up to my lips and I found myself tracing my fingers round it.
Fireworks. Yes, that was the best way to describe it. It was a temporary feeling, she pulled away faster than I would've wanted her to but it felt like fireworks.
"Aidan."
I looked up and realized she wasn't beside me anymore. I found her resting her lower arm on the metal rails of the balcony, staring ahead of me, upwards and I walked up to her.
"Yeah?"
The moonlight had made her look different, better. It seemed as though the moon had lent some of its light and highlighted her already beautiful features.
"The sky, Aidan." She wore a small smile. "It's so beautiful."
And when I looked up, I met thousands, millions, of stars, twinkling brightly at us.
The moon sat pretty before them all, blessing us with its light for the night.
The wind blew calmly and I looked back down. Watching her stare at the night sky, with the wind blowing her braids and her glorious flowing night gown to a direction, some strands of her braids, brushing her face, I smiled.
Otamayomi had many sides to her, I had learnt that. She had a rare part of her, a more gentle side to her.
I watched her star gaze and I saw just that. She looked so peaceful. So serene. So... beautiful.
I found myself brushing the singular braids away from her face and I tucked it behind her ear.
"So beautiful." I found myself saying as I watched her stand beside me and soak in the essence of the moonlight, just her.
She smiled. "I know right. I could stare at it all night."
A small smile found its way to my face. "I wasn't talking about the sky."
She looked away from the sky and her gaze met mine. My breath hitched.
So beautiful...
"Then, what?" She asked, lowly, quietly. "What were you talking about?"
We stared into each other's eyes, and for a moment, I forgot I had a question to answer.
I leaned forward and whispered in her ear.
"You." I said, and I felt her still. I smiled.
"Can I tell you a secret?" I said, lowly. She nodded slowly, I got closer and pressed my lips to her ear.
"You look breath taking tonight." I whispered. "You look like a moon goddess."
I pulled away slowly, not taking my eyes of her. She looked back at me with an expression that spoke unabashed surprise and I stared into her suddenly sad eyes.
