CHAPTER 11 - new beginnings

third person pov:

octavia stalked through the train heading towards the back cab.

"dad?" the girl's face dropped.

"Octavia.." the man stood up, his face being lit by the window. he reached out with open arms. the girl hesitated before falling into his grip.

"dad i missed you so much.." octavia started, "there's so much I need to catch you up on." the man turned around and sat down, gesturing to the seat across from him. Octavia sat down, resting against the table.

"go ahead princess, you can tell me anything." he reached across holding tav's hand.

"oh dad, if you only knew." tav rubbed her temple, letting out a breath.

~ skip past tav catching her dad up ~

"wow princess, I had no idea." her dad's eyes were glossy. he reached over placing his hand on her cheek wiping her tear stained eyes. she crawled over to his side, falling asleep.

octavias pov:

I woke up to someone nudging me. I opened my eyes seeing tom hovering over me. I got up, looking around. My dad must have already left. Tom grabbed my bags from the seat. He took my hand in his, walking us to the door. "c'mon mate, I've got to pee!" Theo yelled at Draco who was just making his way out of the bathroom. Everyone else were waiting on us and now Theo who was in the bathroom. Mattheos gaze was directed towards mine and Tom's grasp. I leaned my head against tom's shoulder. He kissed my head leaning towards me.

mattheos pov:

there she was, with him. not even 5 feet away from me stood my octavia with my brother. their hands colliding with one another, leaning against each other. that should be me, that was me.

toms pov:

it was at this very moment I had hope between us. I have never felt like this before. Mattheo had always been easy on the eye. I was the brains and he was the looks. If anything ever happened to my octavia, I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

octavias pov:

HAWAII! I have plans every day for the next two weeks.

third person pov:

everyone huddled together while octavia pulled up the directions to the beach house. "our rental car should be here...now" they all looked to the black expedition parked in front of them. "I call shotgun!" octavia ran to the car. "I'll drive." Tom followed behind her. everyone else piled in. "could you breathe any harder?" enzo complained. "could you take up anymore room bertha?" theo rolled his eyes. "shut up for gods sake, your giving me a headache." draco sighed.

octavias pov:

it was perfect. for the first time this year, everything feels normal. i looked over to tom, god was he hot. one hand on the wheel, the other on the console. i took his hand, placing it on my thigh. he looked over at me, then back at the road, smiling.

third person pov:

the calm before the storm.
