Gerard got home a little later than usual that night. He had so much left to do, but after that fight with Frank he just wasn't focused on getting it all done. He sighed then pulled out his phone to call him.

Frank let it ring until the very last one.

"What?" He said, answering the phone.

"I'm just calling to check up on you."

"I'm fine."

"Have you eaten?"

He heard Frank sigh out of annoyance.

"You need to eat something."

"I said I'm fine."

"Do I need to come over?"

"I'm not letting you in if you do."

Gerard chuckled.

"Sure - think it's funny. Won't be funny when my neighbors think you're trying to rob me."

"Baby, I know you're still upset -"

"Don't 'baby' me. You -"

"Frank, I didn't call to argue." Gerard interrupted.

Frank fell silent.

"I'm sorry for what I did. But that's no excuse to neglect your needs."

Still silent.

"Do you want me to bring you something?"

"Up to you."

"Okay," Gerard let the call be silent for a few minutes just in case he wanted to say anything, but of course, he didn't. "I'll be there shortly."

Frank hung up without saying anything.

To be honest, Gerard always found it funny when Frank gets mad like this. But he knew he needed to make it right. He got up, put his shoes on, got in the car, and drove to get Frank some food. Not too much was open this time of night but he knew he had to get something. He just decided to get Frank a sandwich from one of his favorite sandwich places.

Once he got to Frank's apartment, he knocked. Frank didn't answer but Gerard knew he was on the other side of the door.

"Come on, Frank. Open up." He knocked again.

"Leave it there."

"I'm not putting your food on the floor."

"Well, I don't want to see you."

"Then open the door with your eyes closed."

Frank opened the door after a moment, his hand over eyes, the other hand let go of the doorknob to grab for his food.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" Gerard smiled to himself at the sight.

"You can go now."

"I have to make sure you eat it."

He huffed. Frank put his food down on the couch then tiptoed his way to grab a chair from his kitchen table. He pushed it across the living room, to the corner.

Gerard shook his head, still amused by Frank.

"You can face the wall." Gerard sat down in the chair while Frank sat on the couch. "And you forgot the pickles." He said, before taking a bite.

They sat in silence until Frank was done eating. Gerard put the chair back in the kitchen, then came back to the living room to massage Frank's shoulders. He felt Frank tense but after a few motions, he loosened up.

"You all set?" Gerard leaned over, resting his chin in Frank's shoulder.

"Mhm."

Gerard kissed his cheek. "Goodnight, Frankie."
