Rose's POV !

Hunter took me to this cute and fancy restaurant. It was nice. He was a good guy. He treated me well but he would flirt with like all the waitresses and went I would just smile at one of the guy waiters cuz he refilled my glass of water.

Well Hunter would get all possessive with me. I mean seriously dude!! You can't do that. The place was great, the date not so much. I got back home at a little past 9h00 pm to see my dad watching tv in the living room. I knew he was going to question me, on why I was late or Who I was with.. So i was going to get to my room silently went haft way through the stairs my dad called my name.

"Rosalinda??" He said with a very calm voice to my surprise.

"Aren't you supposed to be at the Jefferson's(Zoe's)? I called and Mikeal told me you were in the bathroom and that you were staying the night." he asked walking towards the stairs and staring at me directly in the eyes

OH MY GOD! Thanks lord !! I really owed Mikeal for this. My dad can be very overprotective at times. Especially went it came to boys... "I was but went he told me that you were here I got a lift form him and came back, I just wanted to change into my Pj's before coming in the living room" I say hoping that he would believe my lies.He smiled at me and said
"Well i'll cook dinner okay? Change and come to table" with that he went into the kitchen leaving me in the stairs a bit confused.

I never could lie to him. He would always see through me! Something was wrong with him, or maybe theirs something wrong with me? Yepp definitely something wrong with me. Always. But it gave me a certain charm.

I get to my room and decided to thank Mike by texting him

Heeyyy Thanks for covering for me!!! :) I OWE YOU BIG TIME!

He would have snap knowing I was out this late!! -.- I stripped out of my clothes and put my PJ's on. Then went to the bathroom to wash off my makeup. I took a deep breath and went downstairs to my dad.

"How was your day princess?" He asks.

"It was great daddy, what about yours??" I ask with a smile. My dad wasn't here all the time but when he was he always is spoiling me. I loved that about my dad. And I felt like I could always count on him even if he wasn't home often. We went on talking about random stuff and he talked about some business trouble. "You better get some sleep princess. Tomorrow were going to New York, don't worry will be back in time for school." He said

"Wait is this one of your business trips ??" I ask cautiously. I knew he had work and all but I wanted to spend more time with him. He chuckled a bit and answered "No Rose, we are going to visit a friend of mine and his son."

"Okai, what time are we leaving ??" I question happily.

"The plane will be ready at 12h30 pm and were leaving the house an hour before. " he said then got up from his chair kissed my forehead and said

"don't stay up to late, Goodnight princess" and with that he went up to his room. I drank a glass of hot milk and went up to bed. I was feeling to lazy to brush my teeth before sleeping so I just went to bed.

~~next morning~~~

I got up, packed my thing and went to the kitchen but I heard my father talking on the phone and I just had to listen! What i was curious! It sounded serious.

My dad: " yes they will get engaged"

Pause .. The other person was talking but I couldn't hear a thing. I could really used super ability hearing now. Who was getting engaged??

My dad: " We going to be there today."

Pause.. Wait what ?!

My dad: " i'm sure they'll fall in love, no my daughter does not have a boyfriend"

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL !!??********************************
I am so sorry for not updating sooner!!
But my wifi is driving me cray cray !!
I SWEAR!! I feel like throwing the wifi giver out the window!! -.- Anyways I hope you like the chapter!!!
