I like the color Red
It's not mine,
but I love it more than poetry
I've been colorblind all this while
yet it's the most beautiful color
I've laid eyes upon
Looks like centuries of love
No other colors,
shall rest in my palette
I only want Red
My cautious lover
I'll smear lipstick against the corner,
the unrest of his stature
I'll draw ease into the furrow of his brows
All for his rosy smiles
Oh God, I love him
Only apples will grow in my garden
Only him will I see
when my sight decays to monochrome
But it'll all be burgundy.
I love him beyond my limits
I'm an obsessive painter,
I just need to paint him
I just need to keep his form in me... somehow
I've never seen Red, but I know he's love
I surrender my moonshine to him
I'm the witch in the fairy tales
I want to steal his eyes for myself
Let my blood be the sacrifice
Let it take the form of my blush
I already love him above my weaknesses
Can he tell that I love him?
I'll break every color except red
I am now love's painter
Orpheus pales against the scarlet
I grant him hibiscus forevermore
Simply, I love Red
No color could show my love
No word could express my adoration
My Sleeping Briar Rose
I'll wait forever,
clad in cerise.
