A/N: Wrote this for school too-

Epiphany

Once upon a time,

Came a giggle like bell-chimes

As a child had been born

And she knew no thorns

Except for the briars in her stories

She was a child like any other

Whos mind tends to wonder

Wonder through their wonderlands

Leading armies they command

And life was beautiful, until it was not.

It was the norm to grow

To have all your imaginations thrown

Instead of fiery dragons and monsters

She fought hypocrites and heartless bystanders

And she started to forget

Ice formed and shrouded her heart

Then she no longer knew art

Not even the beauty of monochrome

For robotic systems became her home

This was what it meant to grow up, or was it?

Hebe wept as no one took from her fountain anymore

But why? Were they afraid there would be no more?

Only a few still had the courage

To take a few drops they could manage

Alas, it was almost too late

It was her nearing end which woke her

And she realized the way things were

The girl reopened her mind

Set out the princess and knight

And began to imagine.

Once upon a time...

A princess had a laugh like bell chimes

Alas, her joy was locked away!

For the world caused her to sway

So she forgot her own will

And was locked in the castle upon the hill

Waiting years for a knight

Forgetting her own might

So many years she had wasted

So many worlds she could have created

The knight was her loyal friend

That didnt mean he was her happy end.

Just as she lost herself

She found a book upon her shelf

And began to read

The words she began to heed

Cinderella found her happiness

By hoping throughout her madness

A child-like hope

Prevented her from slipping down the slope

Of sadness and dissatisfaction

That was the world's transaction

The princess closed her eyes

And dreamed and dreamed and dreamed

Oh, what a wonderful dream.
