A Nightmare Comes True Part 2: Switching Madness!

In Ash and Serena's house, their kids; Jim and Amy, still sat on the blue couch. Listening to their parents in the chair across from them.

Ash began, "Now kids, even though it was in a dream world, Devoit was still as fierce as ever during our battle, but I wasn't about to back down."

Serena playfully added, "Because no matter where a battle takes place one thing is always for certain. Your father is too stubborn to ever back down." She, the kids, and Pikachu all laughed.

Ash, however, let out a pout, "Hey!"

Serena quickly gave him a kiss, "All better."

He smiled, "All better, dear." Ash turned back to Jim and Amy, "Anyways, it was now Lucario vs Exadrill and I was determined to keep my lead."

[Flashbacks]

Ash had just ordered, "Lucario, use Aura Sphere!"

Deviot followed up, "Excadrill, Focus Blast!" Both Pokemon used their hands to charge up and create blue energy spheres, which they soon threw at each other. When the spheres met, they exploded on contact. Before the smoke could even clear, Deviot gave his next command, "Drill run!" Excadrill put its claw arms up to the claw-like protrusion at the top of its head, forming its body into a drill. It then jumped into the air and began to spin rapidly, before flying right through the smoke and slash Lucario. It then spun around and slashed at him again, causing Lucario to go on one knee, as it stopped spinning and returned it's body to normal.

When Lucario recovered, Ash quickly gave his next command, "Lucario, Bullet Punch!" Lucario rushed in, charging up its arms in transparent metallic energy. When he got close her started unleashing energy punches at Excadrill. While Excadrill at first raised its metal claw arms to block, eventually, one punch hit its face, staggering it and allowing the remaining punches into its gut, knocking them back.

As Excadrill skid backward, digging into the ground, Deviot shouted, "Fight back with Metal Claw." Digging its knees into the ground, Excadrill stopped skidding back and then jumped forward towards Lucario. As it got close, its claw arms glowed with metallic energy and it tried to swipe them at Lucario. While Lucario managed to block the first few with his arms, eventually, some started to get through, hitting him in the face and gut, until eventually, he was knocked back. Excadrill landed back on the ground, "Now, Focus Blast!" Gathering energy into its hands, Excadrill began to charge up the attack.

Seeing this, Ash got his Mega Ring ready, "Alright, Lucario, time to give you a power boost!" He pressed the ring, "Our bond of friendship, Mega Evolve!" The energy from the ring enveloped Lucario and in a flash, he took on his Mega Form. After this, Excadrill fired off the Focus Blast. Lucario crossed his arms to block the blast, "Now, Aura Sphere!" Uncrossing his arms, Lucario quickly gathered his energy in his hands and fired the blast right into Excadrill, blasting the mole Pokemon back.

Just then, the screen froze, and Serena's voice was heard saying, "Of course, we weren't the only ones engaged in dream battles. So were you're uncle Yuya and aunties Zuzu and Celina. And soon others would be joining us."

The screen unfroze and changed to another part of the dream world, where Zuzu and Celina were helping a recovering Yuya, while the dark spirit that had taken on Seto Kaiba's form laughed, "Well, that's one pathetic fool down! Now who wants to be next and to keep things interesting I think it's time for a new form." The spirit morphed into Alexis Rhoads, "Time to see how one of Duel Academy's top Duelists and their Deck works." They activated their Duel Disk.

Celina quickly got up and activated her Due Disk, "I'll make you pay for what you did to Yuya and for daring to use one of Duel Academy's best Duelists and their Deck to fight for. You're a disgrace to Alexis and to Kaiba!"
