Tweek pov

I woke up to see Craig was right, it was snowing. I peered out my window to see snowflakes fluttering down from the sky and landing on the ground which formed large piles of snow. I could see where my parents tried to dig their car out, but gave up and did half of the driveway instead.

Today I wore a pair of jeans, but this time I threw on a dark green sweater in hopes it would keep me warm. I didn't have gloves either, so I hoped it could be warm enough from the sweater.

I walked downstairs and noticed my parents sitting in our kitchen eating pancakes. There was a plate for me too. I sat down and ate with them.

"We won't be able to get to work today. Do you want us to call the school and tell them you'll be absent?" My mom asked.

I debated it for a moment, but i've already missed a day this week and I have stuff to hand in. Also because of Craig.

"No, i'll be okay," I tell them and finish eating. "I've got to leave now though." I sit up and after they tell me goodbye, I leave the kitchen and I put my shoes on next to the door.

I grab my bag and walk outside, where the cold immediately hits my face. I close the door and start walking. It's freezing out here.

I tuck my hands into my pocket, but pull them out quickly after to cover my ears, which were already red and going numb. I'm going to turn into an ice cube before I even make it to the end of my street.

When I pass by Craigs house he comes running out. I don't stop, because if I do I might freeze on the spot.

"Hey, got you gloves," Craig tells me when he's next to me. He holds out a pair of black gloves, even though he doesn't even have any on.

"No, you c-can have them," I tell him, keeping my hands on my ears.

"You're going to get sick. Just take them," Craig keeps his hand held out. I give in and take them. Once it's on it feels a whole lot better. Now it was just my face that was really cold.

"Thank you," I tell him. We make it to the school without saying anthing else.

It was warm in the school, so I tried handing Craig his gloves, since I didn't need it anymore.

"No," He told me and walked in the opposite direction I was going to get to his locker.

I frowned and put them in my locker when I got there. When I reached english, Craig unsurprisingly wasn't there.

I gave the teacher the work I finished and saw that my usual seat was taken up by a boy with a teal jacket on and had the strangest haircut i've ever seen.

Craig walked in by now and noticed the kid in his seat. He walked to the back and I uncertainly followed him.

"Move it, Butters, go back to your other spot," Craig tells him.

"Why, see I can't because there- there's someone else there and I was too nervous to ask him to move. He's real scary and all," Butters told Craig with a shake of his head.

"I don't care. Get up or you'll go back on the flagpole."

"Oh, hamburgers," Butters mumbled and moved somewhere else. Craig then sat down and I went next to him.

Craig put his head down on the desk and stayed like that until the bell rung. Even after the bell rang, he didn't move.

The teacher started talking about writing an essay on whatever we wanted. I glance at Craig to see he hasn't moved an inch. Is he seriously sleeping again?

I tapped his shoulder until he lifted his head. He realized class had started and sat up.

"What're you going to do your essay on?" I whispered over to him. He took a moment to ponder the question.
