CRAIG POV.
Friday went by the same as every day of the week would. Go to school, get home, sleep. Saturday morning at around ten in the morning I told Tweek to be ready at five.
Now i'm standing in front of Tweeks house and knocking at his door. It's exactly five pm. I breathe into my hand to make sure my breath smells good, despite me brushing my teeth three times.
When no one answers the door, I knock twice more before I turn my head left and right, wondering what's taking him so long.
"This is so fucking gay," I mutter under my breath. I stuff my hands into my pockets, not because Tweek wasn't coming out and I was getting impatient, but because the cold air was making them start to feel numb.
He opens the door a small moment later. "Hi! Sorry that took so long!" Tweek said quickly as he stepped outside.
"That's fine. I convinced Tolkien to drive us so now we've got a fancy ride," I inform him while walking to the car parked next to the curb. Tweek goes in first after I hold the door open for him, then I sit next to him.
"Hey, Tolkien," Tweek says as he begins driving off.
"Hello, Tweek," He says, flashing him a quick smile before keeping his eyes focused on the road.
"Okay, get out. I still have to pick up Clyde and bring him to the comic store," Tolkien tells us the second he is parked. Tweek and I nod and step out.
Clyde pov. (haha u guys don't get to know what happened on the date (i don't wanna write it 😛)
I sit on the stairs leading up to my porch playing Tetris while waiting for Tolkien to pick me up. He better hurry up, I want to buy a comic I read about online, it sounds popular so now I must read it.
Tolkien pulls up in front of my house and I rush to sit in the passenger seat. As Tolkien drives away from my house he starts up a conversation, "guess who I chauffeured to their date?"
"If it wasn't a really rich person, don't tell me," I say. Tolkien found that funny and let out a laugh. "It was Tweek and Craig."
"Oh my god! Would that be their first one then? Why didn't you pick me up with them?" I said and nearly snapped my neck when I looked at Tolkien.
"Because you're a bit annoying sometimes." I ignored that statement. "Can I go when you pick them up?" I ask.
"I'm not taking them no where after that. Craig said he just needed the ride to there and he knows what he's doing after that."
"Craig? Knows what he's doing? You're so funny Tolkien," I say with a sarcastic tone.
"His words, not mine," Tolkien said. "This that comic store up here?" He asked me. I tried to see where he was motioning towards and saw it was where I needed to be.
Craig pov. (i hate writing them gay ass restaurant dates so kys and now they have left.)
"It feels a lot colder than before," Tweek mentions when we walk outside. He crosses his arms in an attempt to keep himself warm.
"The sun is gone, so yeah, probably. It's uh —" I take my phone from my pocket to check the time. "— Seven."
"Already?" I look at Tweek to find him gazing at the moon. "Tomorrow's going to be weird. My parents didn't even know we were dating, I was yet to tell them."
"What do you mean?" I ask. As far as I knew, Tweek didn't tell me anything of where he was going.
"Never got around to it, I was scared too. Then your parents called and it was easy for them to figure it out from there."
"No, I meant, where are you going tomorrow?" I specified. He gave me a confused stare. "The dinner? At your house? Your parents invited my family over tomorrow," Tweek told me.
"What? I told him not to do that.. I didn't even know about this," I sigh.
Tweek and I talk until we reach his house, where we bid eachother goodbye. I make my way to my house, and upon entering I yell out for my dad.
He appears from the top of the staircase. "What is it?" He asks, taking a few steps down the stairs.
"Why did you tell Tweek's family to come over for dinner? It's going to be weird," I say, making my way up the stairs. My dad backs up until he's against the wall. I head for my room.
"It won't be any weirder than it would be a month from now. We've all collectively agreed to meet each other. Besides, they are relatively new to the town," He says and follows me.
"It's not going to end well and you should know it," I tell him before my door is shut in his face. I hear my father going back down the hall, assumingely to his own room.
My family isn't exactly dysfunctional, but it's not functional either. I've been through dinners with another family; something always ends up happening.
I pull out my phone to text Tweek. He responds quickly and we continue a conversation until I fall asleep in the middle of typing.
When I do wake up I find my phone went uncharged last night and is left at 12%. I also notice the eight messages left from Tweek.
Tweck (spaz)
you been typing for five minutes
what are tryna say???

craig??
CRAIG.
?????????
oh wait did you fall asleep?
sorry :S goodnightcraig
Hihi, srry yeah i did fall asleep :PI plug my phone in before quickly changing then going downstairs. I find my mom on the couch next to Tricia and my dad in the kitchen reading the newspaper. He has a half-filled mug of coffee next to the paper.
He tells me the Tweaks will be here for six, and I should be ready then too. My mom starts on dinner at four. She's making a fancy salad she found online, paired with fish. I already grabbed my phone, so I was on the couch the whole time. Tricia came downstairs at five thirty.
Tweek seemed like a nervous wreck, he was texting me like a madman. I told him to calm down, that it'd be fine. I knew it wouldn't stay that way for long but I just needed him to be calm.
A minute after six, there was a knock on our door.
