*Dani's POV*

I have to admit, I am mildly disappointed that I haven't received a text from Abby yet. The sun has been up for a few hours now and still nothing. I think about texting her first but she said that she would. If it were any one of my previous girlfriends I would have called them already, but hell I rarely ever spent a night away from one.

A smile plays on my lips, thinking about some of my exes, remembering some of the wild times we had. Thinking through all the women I've been with, I think I might actually have had more partners that Abby has written in the book. Although I am six years older than her, I'm pretty sure her number comes extremely close to mine.

"Six years," I whisper under my breath. That is as long as it took me to get my doctorate degree.

Shaking out of my thoughts, I decide on going to take a shower; I'll go crazy if I just sit around waiting for my phone to ring.

The hot water beating down on my skin does little to spur my thoughts. It cannot be healthy to be thinking about her this much. Our whole relationship has steamrolled my entire life the last couple of days. We should take space but I don't want her to think that I don't want to be around her.

The steam in the bathroom only clouds my head even more. There's one thing I know: I'm not waiting for her to text me.

*Abby's POV*

Having Henley around makes everything feel better. She never pushes me to tell her some things, but rather just talks to me until I eventually spill them out. Today however is not one of those times.

The second she still onto the fire escape I spilled my guts about everything that is going on, including Mom wanting an abortion.

"So are you really going to go with her if she has it?" she asks after I finish.

"I promised her I would go."

"Are you going to be able to go back?"

I shake at her question. Henley is the only one who knows about that. "I promised."

"Hopefully she will change her mind and you won't have to deal with it."

"Yeah," I sigh.

"Know what?" she gets up and pulls me up with her, "Why don't you take a shower and then the three of us will go out and see a movie?"

Smiling,"Yeah that would be great."

"You can even invite that girlfriend of yours," she winks.

Laughing, "I shouldn't have told you about that."

"Oh c'mon I would've found out eventually."

She climbs through the window first and I follow suit.

"I'm gonna go talk to your mom and I'll meet you back in here after you shower," she claims, walking out of the room.

I take the towel off the back of the door and head into the bathroom, over hearing Henley convince Mom to go out with us. I don't really want to invite Dani, I want some space from her today. I don't really want space from her, but I need it. After my shower, I'll shoot her a text and tell her that I'm busy all day.

*Dani's POV*

Walking into Abby's building, I look at my reflection in the glass door. I wanted to look good for her; I put on a pair of snug jeans and a low cut fitted shirt. Today I actually put a little time into fixing my hair just right and applying a little bit of makeup to hide the fact that I didn't sleep last night.

My skin tingles at the thought of her face the last time I showed up at her door. Halfway up the stairs, I realize how much my body wants her. At this point I almost don't care that her mom is there, I know what i want: Abigail.
