Ch 9

Slowly waking up I immediately feel warm I letting out a little sigh as I snuggle into the warmth more only for my eyes to shoot open when I remember where exactly I fell asleep at. Pulling away a little I look to see Chan asleep I wincing at the awkward position he's in knowing he's definitely going to be sore when he wakes up. Unable to help myself I can't help but admire Chan's features my heartbeat speeding up when he suddenly starts to stir his eyes slowly opening only to land on me he giving me a little tired smile. I give him a shy smile back our gazes locked on each other. Suddenly hearing little quiet giggles I turn my head and blink when I see the boys are awake they smiling at us. Feeling my cheeks heat up since Chan and I are in a pretty intimate position since I'm in his lap and his arms are around my waist I clear my throat and quickly get up and move away running a hand through my hair. "Good morning boys." They both say cheerfully in unison. "Morning daddy!" They then look over at Chan and wish him a good morning too. Just then a doctor comes in he giving us all a little greeting. "Hello." He then looks at Jared and gives him a smile. "How are you feeling today?" Jared smiles at him saying cheerfully. "I'm okay." The doctor nods then looks at me and Chan. "He's free to go home now just make sure he keeps his broken arm dry and have him be careful because I know how kids can be." I nod assuring him I will and the doctor nods telling us we're free to go after checking over Jared one last time. Once he leaves I look at the boy's smiling. "Ready to go home? I'll make pancakes." They both nod eagerly and I help them off the bed before looking at Chan who slowly stands up I seeing him wince as he stretches I immediately scolding him. "You shouldn't have let me sleep on you. Sleeping in that chair probably destroyed your back and neck." He gives me a reassuring smile. "I'm fine just a little sore. I wanted you to be comfortable." I immediately feel my cheeks heat up and clear my throat. "Well let's go." I lead the boys down to the lobby Chan following us and I immediately frown when we get to the car thinking of something. "Chan the boys can't sit in the back without booster seats." He frowns slightly agreeing with me. "Yeah you're right." I try and think of a solution when Chan speaks up. "We can take a bus back to your house and I can get the car later." I immediately frown at that idea. "How about I just take the boys home on the bus and you drive back to the dorms? I'm sure you need to get back anyways." He looks like he wants to protest but I give him a look. "We can meet up again soon." He sighs but reluctantly agrees I nodding then pick up Jared holding him while grabbing onto Jason with my other hand. "Alright boys say goodbye to appa." They both pout but say in unison. "Bye appa." He smiles softly and gives both boys a little hug. "Bye guys." I smile a little then start walking towards the bus stop where luckily a bus quickly comes I getting on and head home.

(Chan's Pov)

After watching Fenton and the boys get on the bus and leave I immediately sigh and get in the car starting to drive back to the dorm. Once I reach it I park and head inside where I walk into the living room and am immediately bombarded with the other members asking me questions I holding up my hand. "Whoa one at a time." Minho immediately speaks up first. "What exactly happened? That guy came in mentioned the name Jared and then next thing we know you're gone." I sigh before motioning for everyone to follow me as I take a seat on the couch the others taking seats around me. "That was Fenton. He was my best friend in high school up until our last year when something happened and he randomly disappeared." The others beside Changbin give me curious looks. "What happened?" I look at Felix and decide to just be honest. "We went to a party and slept together after our drinks were drugged. The next morning when I woke up I was completely alone and he was nowhere to be seen. He still won't tell me why but it turns out that he got pregnant and moved back to America." They all give me confused looks. "You said he right? How can a guy get pregnant?" I give Jisung a slight look. "Because he was born female but identifies as a man." The others all let out synchronized "oh's..." before Jeongin speaks up. "So you have a kid hyung?" I can't help but smile. "Two actually. Twin boys." I receive a bunch of smiles and congratulations before Hyunjin speaks up. "So what happened that made you leave in such a hurry? Is everyone alright?" I give a slight sad look. "One of the boys Jared fell off the jungle gym at daycare and broke his arm. He had to have surgery and a cast put on." They all give me sympathetic looks Seungmin asking softly. "How old are they?" I answer a little softly feeling sad. "They're five already. I missed out on so much and I wish Fenton would have contacted me. He didn't even tell me I figured it out on my own because he showed up with the boys and they look a lot like me. Then he mentioned they were five and it clicked." They all give me sad sympathetic looks. "I wonder why he didn't tell you and left?" I look at Changbin and shrug. "Your guess is as good as mine I've been questioning him on it but he won't answer." It's quiet for a moment before Felix asks curiously. "Do you have feelings for him?" I immediately blush and rub the back of my neck. "Honestly I don't know. Back when the incident happened I was completely in love with him but it's kinda obvious he didn't feel the same way since he left. Now I don't know how I feel." They all nod in understanding when suddenly my phone starts ringing I immediately answering it when I see it's Fenton. "Hey Fenton is everything alright?" He immediately answers sounding a little cheerful. "Everything's fine but I need a favor. Someone I know from America needs me to pick him up at the airport he surprised me and the boys with a visit. Can you please do me a favor and watch the boys while I go pick him up?" I blink a little a frown forming on my face when I hear the word he and his happy tone. "Uh sure do you want me to come over?" He immediately asks in a cute tone. "Please? If you don't mind of course." My lips twitch up into a little smile. "Sure I don't mind. Text me your address and I'll be there soon." He immediately thanks me happily before hanging up I pulling my phone away and frown at it. "Everything alright hyung?" I look at Jeongin with a deep frown. "Apparently someone special surprised Fenton with a visit and he has to go pick the guy up so he asked me to watch the boys." The others all give each other looks before looking back at me with sympathetic expressions I shaking my head and get up telling the guys I'll be back later then head to the car driving to the address that Fenton sent.
