Ch 10

(Chan's Pov)

Making my way to Fenton's house I park and get out heading to the front door I gently knocking. Soon the door opens and Fenton smiles at me he moving aside. "Hey come on in the boys are in the living room. I should be back within an hour or two." Before I can say anything he's out the door and rushing to a car that pulls up I recognizing Kira and Malia in the driver and passenger seats. Frowning slightly I shake my head and close the door behind me before heading to the living room where I see the boys watching tv they cuddling with the wolf and kangaroo I got them. "Hey guys whatcha doing?" Jared looks up and smiles happily while Jason seems to be mesmerized by the tv. "Appa! We're watching dancing shows because it's Jay's turn to choose." I immediately look intrigued moving further into the room and look at the tv seeing a ballet performance. "Oh I used to take ballet." Jason immediately perks up and looks at me curiously. "Really? I wanna see!" I chuckle a little at his excitement and get out of the way a little before doing a few moves Jason immediately watching in awe Jared looking a little intrigued too. Once I'm done Jason says a little sadly. "I wanna dance but I can't." I move over to them sitting on the couch curiously. "Why can't you?" He shrugs looking down at the floor and I frown. "Jason what's wrong?" He hesitates before saying sadly. "Boys aren't supposed to dance. It's what our nanny ms Debbie told me when she watched us." I immediately frown feeling a little angry but say in a firm reassuring voice. "You can do or be whatever you want. It doesn't matter what others say as long as you like it and have fun. And boys can dance I'm proof that they can. So are my friends." He seems to perk up a little at that and looks at me hopefully. "Really? So I can do ballet?" I smile and nod reassuringly. "If you want to then me and your dad will get you lessons." He smiles brightly his little dimples showing and he cheers. "Thank you appa!" I smile softly then look over at Jared who looks bored. "What about you Jared? What do you like to do?" He perks up and looks at me before saying cheerfully. "I like art like daddy. Especially painting and drawing." I smile at his happy attitude. "Well do you want to sign up for an art class?" He immediately nods eagerly. "Yeah!" I chuckle softly. "I'll talk to your dad about it." Suddenly my phone vibrates signaling a message and I pull it out seeing it's from Fenton.

Fenton: I'll be a little later than planned we're going to head out for dinner to celebrate something. Do you mind taking care of dinner for the boys? I'm sorry to ask.

I frown slightly but tell him I don't mind and that I'll take care of it. I then look down at the boys putting on a smile. "Who wants to help me cook dinner?" They both perk up and nod smiling I getting up and lead them to the kitchen where I help them wash their hands or in Jared's case his hand before I dig out some food to make. "Alright now do you two have any food allergies?" They both say simply in unison. "Pears and cauliflower." I nod and start giving the boy's instructions on how to help we soon getting a nice meal made. Once we're done eating we head back to the living room when I see how late it is it around six in the evening. "You guys should probably start changing into your pjs." They both grab onto one of my hands and lead me to a little bedroom painted blue and Jason points to the closet. "I wanna wear my bluey pajamas!" Jared bounces around excitedly. "I want dinosaurs!" I chuckle and dig through the closet for the articles of clothing before kneeling down and help the boys get dressed. "Appa can we stay up till daddy gets home?" I hesitate but see their cute faces and give a little nod of agreement. "Alright sure let's go wait on him." They both cheer and we head to the living room to wait.
