Chapter 21- I've Got A Feeling That Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night
I'm now standing infront of the mexican restaurant which was located in our downtown area with my heart pounding hard against my chest.
This is my first date since Taylor and I do not know how to act on a date especially that this is a set-up date. I mean I do not know who this guy is, what am I supposed to say? 'Hey my name is Crystal and I don't like spicy food so please don't order me spicy food'? That's just stupid.
I let out a shaky breath before walking towards the guy that was standing beside the glass door with a wooden stand on his front with some paper.
"Good evening madam" the guy said with a thick mexican accent. I smiled and nodded at him politely and tried to remember the name Mahogany told me before she drove away.
"I'm here with Mr. Dallas and he reserved some sit for me?" I said... more like asking him. The guy nodded and scanned his paper with names trying to find the name I just said, he then looked up at me and smiled.
"This way please" he gestured his hand and led the way. My hands were sweating from feeling so nervous about this. I quickly wiped them at the bottom of my dress keeping them dry because who wants to shake hands with a person with sweaty hands? Probably no one.
We passed the tables and people inside the restaurant and walked straight towards the door that leads to the back of the restaurant. My brows furrowed when he opened the back door seeing only grasses and fences with some lights, the waiter held the door for me and gestured his head for me to go inside. I walked in to the plain garden and the waiter closed the door leading the way again and turned to my right when we walked further I saw the fancy restaurant-garden located at the right side of the restaurant which was closed with tall fences to be isolated from the outside, which answered my question earlier when Mahogany drove me to this restaurant. Fairy lights were everywhere, some were hanging on the tress and there was a lantern in every table and the dark blue sky complimented the place even more, there's even a faint classical music playing in the background. It was peaceful and romantic at the same time. In other words, this place looks magical.
The waiter stopped in front of a table that was made for two beside the tree, it was the most beautiful spot in the garden, there were even fireflies flying freely around the leaves of the tree. The waiter then left us with a nod going back to the entrance. And I shifted my feet as every seconds passed, I can slowly feel the pain of my toes being crushed inside this tall heels.
"Hi" a deep voice said, almost startling me. I stared at the brown haired smiling boy infront of me for a moment, he's probably Dallas. I hesitated for a moment on what I was going to say. Setting my mind on the word i'll be saying I cleared my throat before saying; "Hello"
"If I were you I would be sitting right now with those tall heels of yours, your feet must be throbbing already" he looked at my tall heels with amusement. He must've noticed that I kept on shuffling my feet. I don't even understand how girls were able to dance with this thing. They should be given an award for this.
I laughed at him and took a sit immediately taking off my heels and cracked my toes.
Aaaahhh much much better.
"I know that your feet are throbbing but I didn't know it hurt that much that your toes would crack" he said with a laugh and I snorted which earned me another laugh from him. I stared at him as he laughed and I just realized that he was actually a very fine man. He has a body of an athlete, his brown hair was quiffed, has a perfect white teeth and his eyes were beautiful and brown.
"Take a picture it'll last longer" he smirked and a blush crept on my neck and looked away from him and scoffed.
"That's what they say" I said and drank my water from the table and that earned me a laugh from him. Just as he opened his mouth to say something a waitress came into our table with a friendly face and a friendly smile.
