Chapter 10- Stop Sniffing That Jacket You're Starting To Creep Me Out

I'm so scared I just want the ground to swallow me right here right then. Were in the middle of nowhere. Trees are surrounding us and it's 1 in the morning. I'm not sure about this being alone with Taylor in the middle of a deserted place. I've already had enough today. I'm already scared at what happened to me at the party and now Taylor is going to kill me.

I gulped and trying to remember all the path that we passed but I just can't remember it especially when my mind is not functioning properly. Suddenly I remembered that my phone is with me so I secretly got my phone but it turns out Taylor has a good sighting, he took my phone away and placed it on his left pocket making it way hard for me to get it.

"Hey! Give me my phone back!" I demanded trying to reach my phone but his arm is blocking me. "No I won't give it to you unless you won't call the police" his eyes concentrated on the road since it was dark. 

"Why won't I not call the police when you practically dragged me to your car saying you're taking me home and then all of a sudden were in the middle of nowhere" I ranted getting more terrified and it was getting hard for me to breath.

"Geez would you relax? I'm not killing you or anything I saw the guy harrassing you and I figured that will haunt you forever so i'm trying to bring you somewhere where you can forget about that guy" he explained and rolled his eyes.

I didn't get it at first but when I keep on replaying his words in my mind it finally clicked. He wants to help me forget about that guy... My worst nightmare. But why is he trying to help me? Is this another bet? Where i'll forgive him and then he'll break my heart again? Well I've learned my lesson already and I won't fall for it again. I promised myself.

We finally stopped and he turned off his car engine. I looked at him and he opened his car door and got out before he got out though he said "Are you coming or not?" I just looked at him and then at our surroundings and it looked so scary to be alone so I decided to go with him.

I removed my seatbelt and got out. I shivered under the jacket that Carter gave me. I sniffed his jacket and his smell made me feel safe already. I don't know why but after he saved me from what happened earlier with his prescence or his smell made me feel safe already.

"Stop sniffing that jacket you're starting to creep me out" Taylor said with a face that I cannot draw. My eyes widened and my cheeks turned the color of Rudolph's nose I cleared my throat and walked away from him. "Are you going or not?" I asked and he shakes his head and laughed lightly.

I gasped at the view infront of me. And gaped at it. This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Were standing on a cliff and the city light is shimmering infront of us and the sky was dark but it hinted some blue in them and there were thousands of stars shining brightly above us. It was a breath taking view.

"You like it?" Taylor asked and sat down on the ground. I beamed at him and shouted "yes!" I stared at the city lights with amusement and sat down beside Taylor.

"How did you found this?" I asked and hugged the jacket tightly around me.

"I tend to find a place for me every time i'm sad or mad and I finally found the perfect place for me which is here and this is where I go everytime i'm angry or sad. It just makes me forget about every negative things" he said and lied down. And now I wondered if he brings people here or when he came here when we broke up he sure seems pretty angry that day.

I just nod my head and laid down beside him and his eyes widened but he recomposed himself and smiled at me.

"Have you ever brought someone here?" I just can't help it okay? Curiousity is killing me.

He stared at me for a very long time than it should be. And i'm starting to feel nervous already. He finally breathed out and ran a hand through his hair. "No. You're the first person that I brought here" he admitted and my heart stopped.

Did I hear him right? That I was the first person that he brought with him to his hiding place? I know I should feel special but I just don't feel like one I mean he was my first love and he broke my heart because I was just a stupid bet.

I just nod my head towards him and stared at the sky. He just stared at me the whole time and finally he said that I should probably go home. I got up and wiped off the dirt in my dress and we walked to his car and I was getting sleepy already and I can't wait to be in my bed already. It's been a long day.

I went inside his car and made myself comfortable in his car and gripped the jacket. My eyes were getting heavier every second but before I could drift off to sleep I heared Taylor say "I'm sorry Crystal for everything" and I drifted off to a deep sleep.
