We have parked in front of Jacob's house. The house seems silent like no one was inside and there was no sign of Jacob being home.
"Why is it silent?" Mahogany whispered as we walk to the porch. I shrugged and stopped right in front of the brown door. I rang the doorbell twice unable to contain my excitement. Seconds later I hear feet shuffling and the door opened revealing a smiling Jacob. I gawked at him as I notice his changes from the past eight months. His jawline became more prominent, his hair was styled in a quiff and has grown longer making him look more manly, his body became built, and a little bit of beard grew on his mouth.
"Wow" I heard Mahogany say ever so slightest that Jacob wasn't able to hear.
"Wow" I say out loud. Jacob's smile grew bigger and leaned on the doorframe, crossing his arms.
"Done checking me out?" He asked jokingly, amusement written in his eyes.
"Wait a second" Mahogany and I said simultaneously, raising our point finger signifying a second.
Jacob bursted out laughing and I bursted out too then Mahogany joined in.
"Dayum, Jacob how did you look like this?" I said waving my hand to his body and face. He shrugged at me as he shuffled on his feet, a smirk was now plastering on his face.
"Puberty hit you so hard" Mahogany said, staring at Jacob again. I bursted out laughing as Jacob whined.
"Hey! I was still hot even before now"
"No, that's not what I meant, what I mean is that you've gotten hotter and- wait what did I just say" Mahogany rumbled. Jacob laughed at Mahogany's miserable state.
"Relax, I'm not holding you a grunge because of that" Jacob said trying to ease Mahogany who was muttering apologies. Mahogany audibly sighed in relief and I turned to Jacob before he can suspect Mahogany's crush towards him.
"Soo... Where's Drew and Thalia?" I asked. They are his parents.
"They went off to a two weeks vacation"
"Really?" I asked, surprised.
"Yeah really, I'm really glad they are having it, it's been years since they've gotten a break from their hectic job" Jacob said, worrying about his workaholic parents.
"That's nice" I agreed. Jacob made space for us to walk in. He closed the door once we were all inside and headed to his living room. It has been awhile since I came here, I still come here often even Jacob wasn't here for some dinners or if his parents needed a help from me.
"Wait there, I'll go get your gifts" Jacob said and skitted to his bedroom. Their house is big, like really big. Jacob's parents are really rich because of the successful running business his parents own.
"He has gotten more manly" Mahogany said when Jacob was out of earshot. I turned to her and nodded my head.
"I don't know what he did to look hot like that but I'm happy he did it and would advise him to keep doing whatever he's doing" I said causing both of us to chuckle.
"Heck yeah! That would be the best advise you would ever say to someone"
"Hey I'm not that bad in advising!" I defensed but Mahogany just scoffed.
"Yeah right. Remember when Georgia was crying because her parents were divorcing? You told her 'That's okay at least they won't fight anymore because they would live in different houses already' way to go to comfort Georgia" Mahogany sarcastically said at the end. I laughed at the memory of it. I didn't know what to tell Georgia to comfort her and that was the first thing that came into my mind and that wasn't the only time I have bad advised someone.
