Chapter 99: A Visit to Hagrid

After making a full recovery from her ordeal, Future Hermione felt a strong desire to express her gratitude to Hagrid, the lovable half-giant and groundskeeper of Hogwarts. She had always appreciated his kindness and loyalty, and now, more than ever, she wanted to personally thank him for being a true friend.

With a determined stride, Future Hermione made her way to Hagrid's cabin. The sound of crunching gravel under her feet echoed through the air as she approached the door. Taking a deep breath, she knocked gently.

The door swung open, revealing Hagrid's beaming face.

Hagrid: "Well, if it isn't Hermione! Come on in, lass!"

Future Hermione entered the cozy cabin, feeling the warmth of the fire and the comforting scent of Hagrid's homemade rock cakes. They sat at the wooden table, sipping tea and conversing like old friends.

Future Hermione: "Hagrid, I wanted to personally thank you for your unwavering support and friendship. If it wasn't for you, I might not have had the strength to face that troll."

Hagrid's eyes welled up with tears of pride and joy.

Hagrid: "Oh, Hermione, it was you who showed true bravery. I'm just glad I could be there for you. You're like family to me, you know?"

Future Hermione felt a lump forming in her throat as she realized the depth of their connection. She reached over and squeezed Hagrid's hand, a silent expression of her gratitude.

Future Hermione: "Thank you, Hagrid. I'm forever grateful."

As they sat together, savoring their friendship, Future Hermione knew that her bond with Hagrid would always be a source of strength and comfort throughout her years at Hogwarts and beyond.
