"Thank you so much for your help, Harry," Hermione said gratefully as she settled into the boat, adjusting her bag and crutches. "I don't know what I would have done without you. Starting this year off with these injuries is certainly challenging."
Harry smiled warmly at her. "Of course, Hermione. It's the least I can do. We're friends now, right? And friends help each other. Plus, we're going to be classmates at Hogwarts, so we should look out for each other."
