Voices? Shen? Kennen? A bright light and a sudden feeling of warmth. Akali gets up from the ground with a loud gasp hearing a sigh of relief from everyone. She's alive, in her village, on the ground. But how? The injury was supposed to be fatal and that demon? Why didn't it kill her? Maybe Shen found her just in time and it ran away? That wound should have killed her though...

"We found you severely injured but the bleeding had stopped"

"you should count yourself lucky we found you in time"

they were all saying that with a joking tone in their voices, like if everything was normal but it was so confusing to her. Why in the world didn't she die? Everyone that was surrounding her finally went back to whatever they had to do except Shen.
His eyes were full of sorrow, and he opended his mouth to say something but nothing came out.

"Yeah it's okay... I'm alive that's the important" she said with a soft smile

She's not upset at all. The poor girl is still figuring out the reason why is she even still breathing. She just quickly finishes the conversation with her trainer and gets home to check her wound.

It had bandages on it so she slowly takes them off before dropping them staring at her stomach in shock. The wound wasn't there anymore just a purple spot with what seemed to look like veins with bright pink blood in them fading from it. It was the exact same color of the demon she had seen that night. She healed her? No she SAVED her. Why? Why in the world would she do that? There was no reason, not a single one. Or at least that's what she thought. She had heard of a demon with pink claws and hair but as the most powerful and cruel demon of the whole country, not a "Im gonna save a human for no reason" type. But she did heard of her as the most manipulative creature on this land.

Evelynn. That's her name. The demon of agony, feeding herself of people's pain and suffering. Not a very kind sounding name. How did Akali even make it out alive then? She had no idea. And why did that demon save her? She had no idea either. And there was no way of knowing. Akali is left without answers and she hates that. But honestly she was alive and that's all that mattered right? She had the luck to survive to the most dangerous demon out there. The only possible answer is that Evelynn healed her so she could hurt her even more afterwards. But if it was really the case, well then she had miserably failed. Because she was alive and well, and honestly, that's pretty much all she cared about, ignoring how weird and suspicious the situation was.

She somehow knew that if anyone saw her stomach they'd start asking questions. Questions that Akali doesn't even have the answer to herself. And there was no point in getting more annoyed by all this questioning so she covers her wound back up praying with all her soul that this very visible pink spot was going to disappear. And surprisingly, it did.

After a few weeks, that "stain" somehow went away. She hadn't have training day since the "accident" and even though the wound was closed and didn't even hurt anymore, everyone assumed the opposite because it was always covered in bandages. And she could finally take them off. Everything that was left of it was a large bruise. And for some reason she was a bit disappointed.

She liked the "hurt fighter" privileges but there was something else. She had started to accommodate to that bright pink spot. But she had to get over it. She had to train tomorrow again and she was both scared and annoyed. Sure she wanted to train but going back there was suicide. But she doesn't really have a choice does she? Even worse wounded.

Was that demon going to come for her? She had failed killing her after all, Akali would hate it if it were her. She'd surely come after her to regain her honor. But as a creature of darkness did she even have an honor? All that thinking was useless anyways, she couldn't run away from training this time. She was going to go through those woods again and there was nothing she could do about it.
