Akali started running faster, she couldn't stop anymore. Even though Evelynn probably wasn't the one in danger, she had to check for herself.

She started seeing blood splatter the closer she got. She was close, she could feel it. This aura was getting heavier. It was crushing her once again. It was getting harder to breathe and she had to slow down until stopping completely. There she was. In her true demon form. Surrounded by blood, scratching marks and dead bodies. She was almost completely red from the blood on her but the pink glow was shining though it making crimson highlights on the trees.

Evelynn's pov:

"...Evelynn?"

Akali dropped her weapon to the ground. She looked shocked. Evelynn slowly turned around showing how actually long her horns were. She knew Akali hated her. She made a rampage right in front of her. The blood everywhere was really putting her in the worst way possible. She was a demon. Nothing more. There was nothing else to see there. She turned back to her normal form and looked away in shame. Never in her long, long life Evelynn ever thought she'd be ashamed of herself.

"Can you do that again?"
Akali had gotten a bit closer and her voice sounded blank. She didn't look scared. Or she was hiding it well. What was she talking about? Do what?

"...what?"

"Can you turn back like you were before?"

Akali sounded genuinely interested. Why? Evelynn's true demon form wasn't as pretty as her normal one. Far from it. That was why it was called a true form. Why would she want to see it again? She slowly turned back completely confused. Akali's eyes...sparkled. She was looking at her with such amazement it was almost concerning. What was so beautiful about her in this form? She had killed people, murdered them brutally and all Akali was showing was her admiration for her. Why did she had to be like that? To be so...cute.

"You're...really pretty"
Akali said with almost a gasp. There was barely no emotion in her voice just pure amazement. Evelynn didn't answer. There was nothing to say. She knew she was pretty and that this form was probably her least pretty one but, hearing it form Akali just felt...different, special.

"Can I...touch your horns?"

Huh? Her horns? Why would she want to do that? She never let anyone touch her. But it was Akali. She had never done anything wrong. She simply nodded without a word and the sudden contact made her flinch. It wasn't unpleasant. It was really unusual. It felt nice. Evelynn hadn't felt "nice" in a long time. And she stared at her with pure confusion but she enjoyed that. Akali looked back at her and took her hands back. And then. She did something that could have killed her.

She wraped her arms around Eve. The demon was completely stunned. She slowly turned back to her normal form trying to process what was happening. She didn't know what it was, or what it meant. But she liked it. It was warm, and soft. Things that a demon don't feel even in thousands of years. She felt something starting to form in her eyes. Was it raining? No, the sky was crystal clear. Why was there water on her face then? Why was it starting to fall off her eyes? Why did she feel her throat lock? It hurts. She couldn't stop it, not this time.

She finally slowly warped her arms around Akali. Evelynn was trembling and she just wanted to hold her really tightly and never let go. Akali wasn't even realizing what was happening but it was better that way. She wasn't going to allow her to see her like that.

They stayed like that enough time for Evelynn to calm down. She liked it a lot. She would hate the moment where she would have to let go. She knew that when she was going to pull away she wasn't going to be able to bear looking at her. Her cheeks where wet and there was no way she was letting Akali know about what had just happened.

The second she felt her slightly move away, she turned fully invisible and took a few steps back. She hated not having Akali in her arms anymore. And the girl surprisingly wasn't shocked or even upset of that reaction. She smiled. Why would she smile like that? Why was it so adorable? She felt really weak when Akali held her like that and now she feels weak when she smiles at her? What was going on with her?
