It was dumb to try and running away again. But she had to try. She just had to see Eve again, just once. She looked out her window and saw nobody. It was weird. Really weird. She got outside to check and the only guards she could find where sleeping. They must have got tired of having to stay up all night just because a rebel teenager wanted to see her demon girlfriend.

She didn't have time to worry about why it was so empty. She needed to get to Eve and quick. She ran, again. She wasn't going to find her by running around like that so she stopped and waited. She was going to come, she knew it. The aura was there and there she was. She was walking up to her, with hope in her eyes. Akali was ready to finally answer.

But all that hope faded away when something blue wrapped around both Eve's wrists and she got pulled to the ground, magic, magic bounds. Shen stepped up next to Akali and he patted her shoulder.

"Great job Akali"

What? No no no no. Evelynn looked at Akali, all there was in her eyes where betrayal, she hated her, it was all a trap wasn't it? But she didn't know that Akali was more confused than her. She started to run to Eve but got held back by other people. Why was this happening. Vayne stepped up, of course, that's all she was there for.

"Bring it to the village, we'll kill it tomorrow"

It. Not she. It. A demon, not a human. Nothing more. Akali was crying for the first time in years. She was screaming for them to let her go, but it's like if she wasn't there. No one was listening, no one was looking at her. The one that did thought she was crazy. They forcefully got her inside her house and locked her in. She kicked the door, punched windows, anything. She gave up at some point. She was tired, she sat against the door, buried her head into her arms and cried, for hours. She had failed the only thing that mattered to her anymore. Everyone else had become strangers.

Evelynn's pov:

She got locked into a magic room, she couldn't get out and even moving was painful. She never got put into a cage before and she wished it to stay like that but there we are. Almost the whole village watched over her during the night, very uncomfortable, but that was only a fraction of her feelings right now. Akali had done something that she would have never even imagined. It made no sense.

Had she went along with everything that Eve did since the beginning just so she could catch her? She sweared that there was something real in all of those moments. Akali couldn't have done this? She had screamed and fought back and did everything she could to make them let her go. If that was also acting, damn she was really good at it.

It was finally morning. And god she hoped that it would never come but the sun was there and she was going to die. She hated having her slashers tied together, she hated having her hands tied together, but doesn't everyone? She crossed Vayne's eyes.

"I wish I could torture you the way you did to my parents"

Evelynn smiled. She had nothing to lose.

"Oh yes I remember their faces when they begged me to kill them "Oh please make it stop!" and you weren't doing anything to stop me"

Rage started growing in Vayne's eyes. She loaded her crossbow as a warning but it didn't scare Evelynn, nothing ever did.
