Vayne opened the cage's door and pulled Eve out.

"What are you gonna do after you kill me huh?"

"I'll take care of all the other demons like you so no one has to suffer again"

"Whatever you do, we will always come back in some way, and you know it don't you?"

Vayne didn't answer. She did know but she also knew that she was never going stop killing them until she died. They were walking towards a rocky hill. That was where Evelynn would die by her arrow. And for the first time, she felt fear. She was going to die in the worst way possible. Not in a battle that lasted three days and three nights but tied down unable to move or do anything.

They had got to the top. They placed Evelynn right at the end of the hill, facing Vayne.

"You can turn around if you want"

Vayne was giving some surprising last moment pity. Eve didn't need it.

"Oh no I'd like to see the one that will get to kill one of the most dangerous demon of Runaterra"

Vayne switched arrows to a more classic one. It was oozing with blue substance, magic. She took a really long time to do so while everyone was staring at her in silence. She pointed her crossbow.

"Demon of agony, I'm sending you back to hell, and I'll do it over and over again"

Eve shut her eyes. She was going to die and she would have never knew if Akali loved her or not. She had lived so many years and it's as if she only remembered the past one, the interesting one, the only one where she actually...lived.

She heard the arrow leave the weapon. Vayne had shot. Was she dead yet? She heard everyone gasp. Her bounds untied themself. She didn't feel any pain. She slowly opened her eyes. The arrow wasn't inside her chest, it was...in Akali's?

What was she doing here? She was standing right in front of Eve. Everyone looked shocked and that's probably why her bounds weren't there anymore. They were distracted. Eve wanted to run, that's all that was left to do. Akali spitted blood and that's when realization hit Evelynn. She was going to die. It was a magic arrow, she couldn't heal her.

It almost felt like if the arrow had went through her own heart instead. Tears started falling again. She couldn't let her die. Not here. Evelynn disappeared in the shadows taking Akali with her. And she ran, she ran knowing that everyone was after her.

She put down Akali in a small cave. She took her head in her hands. She couldn't stop crying. Akali was still there but not for long. And she started crying too.

"Eve...I love you"
