Alphas a Female [discontinued]

Prologue

It was common knowledge that Alpha Bendwill died in his service to his pack. It was also common knowledge that Luna Mary was the upmost determined woman you would ever meet.

Unlike most packs, Luna Mary was only Luna because her brother, Xavier Bendwill, hadn't met his mate.

It was very strange, Xavier, being 22, should've met his mate four years ago. A werewolf's mate is like your other half. You can't live without them.

Luna Mary, has yet to find her mate, though she is already 18. Ever since Mary's brother died she has refused to let the line of alpha go astray.

"My brother was the most loving and caring alpha and pack could ever ask for," Mary started her speech to her pack, "I would like to carry on the Bendwill line and become the alpha."

Many "boo"s rang through the audience as the Beta and his followers had wanted to be alpha themselves.

Beta Gale was unlike any other beta. Gale didn't support Xavier's choices. Gale was more... old fashioned.

He believed that only men can be alphas and that you must have power to be respected. He believes that to be powerful you have to have the bloodlust of a trained assassin.

"I know I face many challenges but next month, I am going to meet with the Werewolf Committee to suggest this idea," Mary stated, "minister Clyde thinks that I can't be an alpha. Women should be equals after all it is the two thousands."

Women cheered as men tightly gripped the hands of their mates. Out of the corner of Mary's eye she could see Madeline Wood. The betas mate and the packs crescent.

Alpha, the leader of the pack, is the highest ranking. An alphas mate is called the Luna. The alpha and Luna are suppose to be equals, and they are, but some people think all had should be more powerful.

Then there is Beta and his mate is called the Cresent. Then there is Gamma, and his mate isn't really apart of the power chain. The gammas name is Peter.

Lastly there is the omega. The omega is the weakest link. The omega doesn't have power and is considered so weak the pack won't even care if that person gets left behind.

Madeline Wood hated every fiber in Mary's body. Like her mate, she wanted power and was angry when it would be passed over to her.

Madeline Wood was one mate you would not want to have. She was very much a... slut. Her and the previous alpha had a thing going on between them before she met her mate.

Gale, for one, love Madeline's snippy attitude and power hungry soul. Together Madeline and Gale made the meanest and most determined couple to ever walk on pack grounds.

"Thank you, everyone, I hope you can support me in this history changing landmark. Let the Bendwill line live on!" Mary said cheerfully.

Luna Mary walked the whole mile to get to the Alphas house. She has lived their ever since she was a little girl, and she was not ready to give it up.

Combing her brown hair, she wrote down ideas to help herself win the fight for power. Now-a-days alphas and betas don't physically fight, but they take it up with the werewolf committee.

In the old days people would kill the alpha and the killer would become the next ruler of the pack.

The Bendwill family has ruled this pack for many years. She wrote. I would like to carry out this tradition. I understand my brother failed to have a mate or a heir that could take the title. But I would like to accept that title since it is my birth right. The Bendwill line shall live on!

Yawning she walked upstairs to her bedroom, and got ready to sleep.
