There was no way to express the height at which Mary's heart leaped from her chest.   Her first instinct was to make up an excuse, but what good would that do as she had literally followed him home and into his house?   Her second option was to pull out her gun and threaten him.   She opted for the second.
Her hand quickly brushed against the cold metal of the handle of her gun.   Earlier she had met with a seller, of course his 'store' was in the boot of his car, but it was all the same to Mary.    Quickly, she cocked the gun and held it towards Noah-no his face.
Noah laughed, not caring that death was upon him.  "Let me guess.   Ian sent you here to kill me?   Did he mention the last ten assassians he sent all mysteriously wen missing?   Well they did, and they were all much more expirenced than you."
"You killed them," Mary said, slowly realizing that Ian didn't want him dead for no reason, "what did you do?"
"Me? I did nothing! It was he who did bad! He wanted me to help in his blackmailing schemes. However, I wanted none to do with it, I was perfectly content with my plans."
"And that was?" She asked, feeling them end to the story was not quite near.
"Murder," he said, his eyes flashing a crimson red. He leapt from his chair and tackled Mary to the floor. Before she knew it the gun was out of her hand and the ability to fire upon him was ceased.
Mary's fists clenched as she jammed some blows to his upper abdominal.
He land some on her as well, fracturing her right wrist in the process. Mary knew what she needed to do.
She screamed out in excruciating pain as he bones broke and reformed themselves. Noah, grasping what she was doing, grinned as he shifted too.
He still sat on top of her, pinning her to the ground. Mary's muzzle bit deep into his throats until blood began to pool out. Noah whimpered, jumping off of Mary and scratching at her head leaving a gash across her eyes.
The turn healed her wrist, or paw as it was, and she was able to stand up. She used her healed paw to make a gash of her own, hurting him more.
Noah fell to the floor, his black fur stained red with blood. She clasped her teeth around his neck yet again, her mouth filling with the taste of blood, and forced her way across, ripping his throat.
She waited to let go until her wild hearing heard the cease of his heart beat. She cowered over the the corner, shifting yet again. She searched for her clothes, finding them to be soaked in blood.
She picked up her clothes and continued to search around the house, careful to keep her prints off of things. A white patterned door on the left side of the hall led to a bedroom- Noah's she presumed. She opened the dresser on the far side of the blue and brown room and pulled out a pair of boxers, athletic shorts, and a t-shirt.
While pulling the shirt on she walked around the room, scoping it out. As she walked she heard a difference in sound under the floor boards. It was the slightest difference that no human could here, but it was still there.
She pushed the brown carpet up and found a small dent for her hands to clasp around. She pulled the floor boards up and found a stair case. Shuddering, Mary took a deep breathe and descended down into the dark cellar.
Her eyesight didn't help due to the wounds she had been given, but her hands were able to find a light switch. She flicked it up and, preparing herself for what she might see, studied the room.
A single sink sat in the corner and a pile of blankets in the other. The single light bulb sat just above the middle, lending the room a surprising amount of light. Mary's sense of smell kicked in and she was able to catch a scent of something living.
Slowly, Mary advanced towards the pile of blankets and peeled the off one by one. At the bottom was a girl. No older than sixteen and covered in dirt. Her, what was probably once red, hair covered her face. "Hey, you'll be okay," Mary whispered sweetly.
All the girl could do was give a small whine. Mary wrapped a red blanket around the girl, whom was only wearing a shirt, and picked her up.
Her cheeks were stained with a mix of blood and tears and she burrowed her head into Mary's shoulder. "What's your name?" Mary asked.
"Erin," she answered quietly.
"Okay, Erin. Well here is what we'll do, I will drop you off at the police station and you will tell them all about the man who kidnapped you. Okay?"
Mary could here Erin's heart begin to beat faster, she, of course, assumed it was of the thought of her kidnapper. Instead, Erin only answered in confusion, "I was taken by a woman."
At that moment Mary could here the bedroom door open. Her pace quickened, attempting to reach the stair case. However, she didn't make it before it was slammed close.
The room began to fill with gas, a thick, gray, gas. The pipes lining the room pushed out more and more until Mary was hardly able to breathe.
Mary's body collapsed to the floor with a thud. Her mission just got much more complicated.
