Dear Luna Bendwill,

You are invited to the annual Moon Ball. At the ball you may dance and hopefully find your mate. The moon ball takes place on the next full moon, which is Saturday the 31 of October.
Hope to see you there!

Head of Werewolf Occasions

The Moon Ball was in two weeks. That should be enough time to decide whether she should go or not. Right now, she had more pressing issues on her mind.

Finishing her breakfast she scuttled off to her office to continue on her argument.

Knowing full well, Minister Clyde would find something on her, she had to prepare for everything. That meant pulling back up her bad past.

If she could ever find a witch who would give her a memory potion to forget, this would be what she would forget. Mary wasn't exactly very into werewolf packs and stuff.

She was a rogue. She didn't have a pack, she just ran wild, free. However she didn't run wild or free she just buried the truth. She became a rogue then her wolf became doormat.

She never shifted again until the news about her brother started to spread like wild fire. Xavier was sick. Mary rushed home, but was found unwanted. For she smelled no longer wolf but human.

Mary also smelled sickly of alcohol, which her father found as a disgrace to himself. She calls those days her "dark days" because she had died her hair a dark blue color instead of her natural brown hair.

Mary wrote defense lines, for anything that might come up about her "dark days", until her green eyes dropped and her face turned pale with hunger.

Autumn who was conveniently waiting outside held a plate with a sandwich and chips.

Mary with her stomach growling reached out to grab the plate.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" Autumn smacked away Mary's hand.

Mary groaned and walked to to pack kitchen were Ray, the third in command, was making sandwiches.

Madeline sat on the other side of the counter twirling her blonde hair, ordering Ray to make some sort of cold sandwich.

Ray, making her lunch rolled his eyes at her. He had no choice but to be obedient. She had, though she was a woman, more power than him.

"You gonna go to the ball?" Ray asked.

Mary groaned, why was everyone obsessed with this stupid dance?

"I don't know yet, though Autumn is not taking no for an answer."

"Well that's autumn, as stubborn as hell." Jack commented but quickly turned the other way, turning Scarlet when Autumn walked in.

"I heard me name. What were you guys talking about?" Autumn asked looking at Ray who was deciding what meat to use.

"Nothing. So, I was thinking and I guess I will be going to the ball-" Autumn squealed turning the entire rooms attention to them, "but I'm only going to find supporters.

"Fantastic!" Autumn beamed, "are you going to go, Ray?"

"Well I... I mean I could... But it's not really..." Ray struggled to find the right words.

"Oh come on, we're like the three musketeers, if we go, you go."

It's true. Ray, Autumn, and Mary had been best friends since they could crawl. Going on adventures al through HighSchool, until Mary left to "discover who she was".

"I mean- I guess- but you know-" Ray tried to come up with an excuse.

"No.   You're going and that is finale." Spoke Mary.

"Ya! It will be fun!  I promise." Promised Autumn.

"Hey!   Robert or whatever!  I want my sandwich."  Madeline practically screamed.

Ray, rolling his eyes, went back to the the art of stacking meat on bread, otherwise known as making a sandwich.
