Mars' eyes narrowed. "Nah, I don't wanna play these silly games." His vision went red, and suddenly, in a burst of lava and swords, the star fell.
Next came the poor man beside him, in similar fashion.
"I wanna do it this way." Mars growled, his tail lashing behind him as he struck out at the man.
"It doesn't matter if you're a Mean Gill, or a Bad Boy, or a Neighbor, or a Clocker!" His eyes had a faint purple tinge to them as he raved, and the eyes Watched intently.
"You're all going d̶̟̩͎̏o̷̙̅̅̆͐w̸̥̻̠͔͖̔́n̴̰̅͋, none of these n̴̬̏̓͠ỉ̴̟̰̖̮͊́͝c̵͙̫̍͂̐e̷̝͎̰͙͛̏̈̚t̷̠̊̋͗͂ĩ̶̻̰̫͘e̸̡̖͋͗́̏s̸͔̲̃͝͝, this is a D̶̡͓̳̭̤̔͑̀͂͛͘Ę̶̩̻͈͕́͆̕͝A̷̝̤͌̋̓̍̕ͅṪ̸̠̟̘͋͆̔͘H̴̢͖̗͉͎̐̀̽͐ͅM̸̢̧̮͑̚Ã̷̢̞͇̓͠Ţ̷͕̈̀̓͝Ĉ̸̭̟͋̂͝H̴̟̻͆͘ͅ for a REASON!" He thrust his blade through the man's back, blood soaking into the ground.
Mars' eyes were wild, and he put one hand to his face as he spoke. "O̷͈̎͑̿̏̿o̵̭͒̋ȯ̷̡͎̱͙̈́̌̾̔̀h̴̦̮͇͒́.̵͈͈͓̲́͌̚͘͠.̶̢͙̲͕̰̑.̶̟̰̖̝̳̽͌ ̶͖̦́̌̈́̅̏̾Ţ̶͎̠͎̑̈͂͘h̶̗̗̮̆̔͜a̸̧̩̣̓͊͊̚͝ṱ̶̳͚̩̖̬̿̓́̓̅ ̶̲̏͂̍̈́̂f̴̢̩̲́̅͆̍ē̷̟͓̝͎e̷̟̤̋͗͒͘͜͝l̶̻͖͗s̷̩̬̲̓̄̍̍͘ ̴̖̟̊̈̍g̸̮̜̑̄͊̑̎o̸̭͎̻͛͆͗̐͝͝o̵̢̥̫̪̪̙͂̊̋͑̍d̷̘̭̻͕̀͂͂̒̈.̴̮̬̹̘̅̆ͅ.̵̡͚́͠.̶̡̢͔̎̓̀̕͘" His hands were bloody, and he could see the eyes all around him, Watching him. "Time is D̵̠̙̄̒̒̈́́̈́É̶͉̘͎̥̼̉̏̎̒͒͜L̸̦͕̓̓̇̽̔͜I̷͙̍̋C̴̢̙͔̜̗̈́́̈́Î̸͔̯̪̋̈́͝Ȍ̵̮̩͂̚U̶͖̭͋̅Ś̷̢̘͖!"
He broke off into maniac laughing, clawing at his own face as he did so.
Who was he even? Why should he continue? He felt so good... Yet he had nothing. He had betrayed everyone, and for what? The adrenaline rush? The thrill? Them?
Mars eventually stopped, staring at the eyes all around him, blood dripping from his head and hands.
There was nowhere he could run anymore. He was alone with Them now.
He felt almost relieved when the light struck him.
