The battle pt. 3

Tomorrow, a word explaining the day after the current one, but in my mind its a challenge, I have been overly confident in my battle skills for tomorrow, but the sinking feeling in my gut tells me otherwise, something is bound to happen.

There is only a few more hours till sunrise and I have yet to fall asleep, the silent even breaths of Paul's sleeping figure next to me makes me jealous, sliding out of bed I decide to do something to take my mind off things, walking down stairs I hear Deuces Tv on and just walk in, hes awake sitting up against the headboard, upon seeing me he scoots over and I slip in and under his arm, nothing interesting on Tv but I just sat there quietly enjoying my best friends embrace.

As the sun began to peek through the curtains I got up out of deuces hold and kissed his cheek,

"I'll see you later" I said to him

"Promise?"

"Always" I said back, he knew I what I meant so I walked back up to my room and got some clothes, jean shorts, White black tank and a cut off sleeves bush shirt with a hood, I nudged Paul awake,

"Come on we have to go" I whispered in his ear kissing him on the lips, I saw a slight smirk and his eyes opened,

"Okay then babe" he said rubbing his eyes and getting up, leaving in only shorts and running shoes, I put on combat boots and we left hand in hand to meet Sam and the pack, minus Jacob who was up with Bella and Leah who was doing perimeter on them,

"We're just waiting on Jared" Sam said as Jared came from the house,

"Lets go kill us some baby blood suckers!" Paul whooped and they all phased, even Seth, he was going to watch Bella while we were in the clearing, I did not phase as I am the only one who can tolerate the Cullens I will be on Pauls back just to talk and then I can phase after to take my spot beside Sam.

All the Cullens were there except Edward hence the reason I am human,

"Morning Ancients!" I said to them,

-Rosie!- Jacob and Sam growled me,

"Morning short stack" Emmett answered me smiling,

"So how much time do we have? The sun is already pretty high" I asked Alice,

"They're here, places" Alice said with the odd look on her face,

I nodded and ran back into the woods alongside my pack a phased standing in between Sam and Paul, eyes ready.

I could smell them before I saw them, not as strong as the Cullens but still revolting,

They all emerged, young teens, our age all crazed from Bellas scent, they all ran straight at the Cullens, there was a stronger scent as well, the red head was near,

-hold- Sam ordered,

We all stood ready to bound into action,

-She kissed me, OH MY GOD! In your old pale cold face Edward! Hahahahaha! She likes me- Jacobs thoughts evaded everyones mind momentarily losing our concentration,

-Jacob you idiot!- I yelled getting everyones attention back, the new borns had surpassed the Cullens and were running toward us,

-Go!- Sam commanded, this filled me with adrenaline and excitement,

-YOU! SHALL NOT PASS!- I yelled like Gandalf bounding full force into the field,

The new borns came to a halt as we jumped from the trees, I ran straight at one ripping its head off, and it seemed there were a few more coming, one was running straight for Rose but she was occupied with another while Paul was about to be crushed, I was conflicted, Rose was closer but this is Paul, I made a decision, and ran for Rose ripping the new born apart, I turned ready to help Paul but Emmett was already there helping, there was still many to kill and it seemed a bit hopeless, then Jake and Leah jumped from two different places evening out the odds, this is going to be easy,

-The red head and another are up here- Seth informed us,

-Leave- Leah ordered,

-no, I'm helping- Seth said back firmly,

I shut that out and continued fighting. The battle ended not long after and Seth informed us they were fine but by the look on Leahs face something had happened up there, Edward and Bella were making their way down with Seth heading back to Emily and Sam's but out of no where a new born appeared and Leah ignored Jaspers rules and went for the easy kill but was soon wrapped and held by the new born, Jacob jumped in and the new born was sneaky jumping behind Jake and snapping his upper half,

-AAAH!- both him and I whined both phasing immediately, I was screaming my pain bended down on my knees clutching my ribs while he was on his back groaning, I don't know what happened after that I blacked out.

I woke up at Billy's house in Jacobs room, he was being examined by Carlisle while everyone waited outside, Jacob was awake holding really still,

"Jacob" I spoke but it came out as a mere whisper, but they heard, I stood up and walked over sitting next to his head and wiped his hair back and grasping his hand,

"You'll be fine brother" I whispered watching his face calm down, Carlisle worked quickly re-breaking his bones to reset them and gave him pain relief,

"Bella" Jake asked Carlisle who nodded and headed outside,

I don't know why but I got angry, beyond angry, he still cared for her even though she was the reason we all ended up in her mess, I didn't mind her before but now she just got on my nerves, it was as though he could feel it, he looked at me and gave a small smile squeezing my hand a little, I gave him a kiss on the forehead and left before I got too angry.

Once I stepped foot outside Bella was there and before anyone could stop me I had her throat in my hand and had her lifted in mid air,

"This is your fault!" I sneered at her,

"Rosaline" Billy said sternly to me, Bella was squirming in my hands, I turned my head to look at him and looked evilly at him, if looks could kill.

I dropped Bella not even looking at her and stalked off into the woods and ran to my house, All the questions I need ask and answer I will do so tomorrow, right now I slipped into Deuces bed where I let the comfortable darkness slowly consume me,

Before I was completely consumed I felt Deuce beside me

"Sleep my lovely" he pressed a kiss to the side of my head, and I was consumed.
