Chapter 5

Damn it! I jumped under Pauls blanket to hide and Embry and Jared laughed, Paul was still waking up and Jacob was storming up the stairs,

"Hide me" I whispered under the blanket,

"Who imprinted?" Jake was standing at the door looking around,

"Paul" Embry answered looking at Jake,

"where is she?" Jake asked all the males in the room,

"Don't really know"Jared said and he and Embry walked off leaving me under a blanket with Paul attempting to hide me,

"who did you imprint on?" Jake asked Paul who was still waking up,

"Um Rosaline" Paul was abit weary,

"and she is where?" Jake crossed his arms,

"Damn it" I mumbled revealing myself, I looked up to Jake who had his arms crossed and was staring at me sternly,

"out of his bed now"

"wait you didn't imprint?" Paul asked me,

"um" was all I could say because I really didn't know, Jake who was now dry and in different clothes was looking between us,

"how is that not possible? Paul imprinted on you, we all felt it but.." he dragged off

"come with me" Jake was saying, I got out of the bed and Paul followed wrapping his arms around me, he was so warm, well we all were but his touch was all tingly

"Sam, Paul imprinted" Jake said to Sam who looked at Paul and I

"Finally" he breathed a sigh of relief,

"But Rosie didn't" that caused the whole room to look at us

"How?" was all he could say, I didn't know either, not so long ago I found out the family secret and now I'm more confused than ever, I looked up to Paul who was staring at me intently and I couldn't help but smile, I wouldn't mind falling in love with him,

"It's time to go" Jake said pulliung me away from Paul who got angry, I could feel it,

"let her go Jacob" Paul growled out, ofcourse Jake didn't and I was getting a little angry, we got outside me struggling a little, Paul had followed warning him again all too soon I was thrown behind Jacob and Embry grabbed me, both Paul and Jake had phased circling eachother, Jake swung at Paul and got scary close to hurting Emily who was standing nearby, Sam pushed her behind him but this was making me angry, so angry I began to shake, Embry let me go because I was about to phase.

"Jacob!" I yelled at him he turned to look at me and so did Paul,

I phased and looked at everyone,

"Cut it out you idiot! You almost hit Emily!" I yelled in his head,

Everyone was staring at me now, I had grown a little bigger in size and I sensed fear from someone, Emily was looking at us all quizically, I turned and ran hearing my name being shouted but I blocked it out seeing red, I ran back to my house and phased back, I ran to my room and collapsed on my bed, what the hell is going on with me, thats where I passed out.

"I think shes waking up" I heard a voice, I felt hot, like too hot and very annoyed,

"Jake she's waking up, better get in here" Embry, that's who it was, I sat up and looked at Paul who was sitting beside me and then to Embry who sprawled out on the ground,

"Rosie, I'm sorry" Jake said as soon as he appereared in my door way,

"Why are you all here?" I asked them looking back at Paul,

"We couldn't find you after you ran off, neither could Sam, Jake found you here passed out, two days ago" Embry explained,

"What?" I was a little surprised,

"I think you need to talk to Billy" was all Paul said, I looked around at the faces and nodded my head,

"I'll be over at the Clearwaters" Embry said getting up,

"why?" I asked again,

"Harry Clearwater had a heart attack"

I felt oddly weird when I walked down to Uncle Billys, I had Paul and Jake with me but I was silent, what was going on with me? With Paul being by my side 24/7 will I be able to have fun like I did before I met him, my head was full of thoughts the whole walk to Uncle Billys and I was still oddly hot, temperature wise.

Uncle Billy was waiting in the lounge for us so I walked in flanked by the two boys,

"Rosie I think you should sit down, you too Jake" was all he said as he entered,

"Paul? What are you doing here?" Uncle Billy asked him,

"He imprinted on Rosie" Jake explained, Paul stood at the door waiting for us,

"Well I need to tell you both something and I'm not sure how, I promised your mother and father I wouldn't unless I absolutely had to and it seems now, that it is the time" Uncle Billy looked scared and a little apprehensive,

"Rosaline, you aren't an only child, nor are you the child of John, 17 years ago your mother was trying to concieve, she couldn't for two reasons, her womb was a hostile environment and your father had cancer, so he came to me and your mother Jacob" I looked at Jake and he looked at me,

"I'm your daughter?" I asked my voice barely a whisper,

"And Jacobs twin sister, we found out we were having twins, we wanted a boy so we kept Jacob and you were gifted to my brother, your father, we never told anyone" Uncle Billy looked serious,

"Jacob is my twin brother" I looked toward him only then noticing similarities between us, the eyes, lips and even our hair,

"Rosaline is my twin sister?" Jacob asked shocked,

"Rosaline is Jakes twin sister?" Paul uttered,

"Rosaline is the oldest and this next part you both have to hear, with her being the oldest and the grand-daughter of the chief she is the rightful alpha, but it has never been known to have a female shapeshifter so we never planned on how to deal with such... things" Unc-My father, Billy said,

"How could you?" I asked near tears,

"Rosie" Billy tried

"I am 16 years old surely you saw fit at some point to tell me I was adopted!! Even my father, I mean John oh I don't know the man I lived with for SIXTEEN years should have told me" I was feeling so emotional now "Is this why I feel ridiculously hot! Why I can keep my thoughts hidden? Be cause I'm a dumb alpha! I don't want to be alpha! Sam is the alpha not me!" I was grying now, I unsteadily got to me feet and walked away, shoving hands off me as I erupted outside into fresh air, I lived with John my whole life, I loved him, he is still my father regardless who the damn sperm donor and incubator were and Jacob?? My younger brother??!! I ran off into the woods with Paul following behind me, I ran past the tree line and kept running further and further into the woods untill I collapsed into a tree and cried.
