Dinner With An Old Friend

Cub's Perspective-

Cub smiled as Grian and Scar walked in.

"You guys done shouting yet?" He asked.

Scar and Grian exchanged looks and they both smiled.

"I think we're good now." Grian said.

"You two friends?" Cub asked and Grian and Scar nodded.

"Good, now sit down." Cub said.

Scar sat down next to Cub and Grian sat down across from them.

"So when's the wedding?" Grian asked as he spooned some of the spaghetti and meatballs into his plate.

Cub and Scar blushed.

"Uh- it should be in April." Scar said.

"Oooo, I'm excited!"

Cub and Scar chuckled.

"So are we."

Grian nodded and started to eat his meal.

"Wow, Cub! This is really good!" He said and Cub chuckled.

"Glad you like it! My mom taught me how to cook it."

"That's nice."

Cub nodded and hummed.

"So Grian," Scar said, making Grian look up, "How are you doing?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean...are you okay with me now?"

Grian paused.

"I...want to be friends with you...but I just don't think everything's back to normal yet. I feel like right now we're just acquaintances."

Scar nodded.

"But I'm sure in time things will heal."

Scar smiled, "Good, because I miss hanging out with you."

Grian forced a smile.

Cub narrowed his eyes and quickly changed the subject.

Near the end of their dinner, Grian helped Scar and Cub make invitations.

"Oh, and here Grian." Cub said, grabbing on of the invitations and handing it to Grian, "I hope you can make it."

Grian smiled.

"And you can bring a plus one if you'd like." Scar added.

Grian blushed when he looked at the invitation.

"I know just the person to invite."

I didn't really know what else to do with this sooooooooooooooooooooooo :)

Uh- but let me know what you think of the story so far! I'm sure we all know who Grian's thinking about inviting as his plus one, but do you think he'll have enough confidence to actually do it?
