As the two stared at the crying Sora, Alex and Raven both slowly backed away from one another, lowering their weapons and regaining their composure.
"Sora. I thought I told you to stay inside." Said Raven.
"W-Why were you about to fight Alex, Sensei? Why're you acting hostile towards him and Mei? Those two didn't hurt us. They saved me and all the kids. They're only here to look for their friend. You can help them find her, right?" Asked Sora.
"I can't let them take their friend away."
"Why not!?"
"Their friend is dangerous. She could hurt you. She could hurt everyone."
"..................then, w-will they be able to see her again?"
Despite asking in a pleading tone, Sora didn't get a single answer from Raven as the caretaker remained silent.
"N-No? Never..........?"
Again, Raven remained eerily silent as more tears started to fall from Sora's face.
"Mei and Alex, told me everything. T-They've gone through so much...............just to see Kiana again. Please Sensei. Give them a chance." Pleaded Sora between sobs as she cried more and more. "You're scaring me Sensei. Y-You're, turning into a different person."
Raven had gained a face of immense guilt as Alex walked up to and kneeled before Sora, giving her a hug.
"It's okay Sora stop crying. Things are just, really complicated right now." He said, trying to cheer her up somewhat.
"There's no need to fear child." Said Raven as she also approached Sora and wiped away her tears. "I'll give them a chance. I'll promise you that."
Alex let go off the hug and backed off, standing back with Mei as Raven eventually had managed to convince Sora to head back home for sure this time as she closed her door and turned around with a sigh.
"Leave the kids out of our fight. Follow me if you want to know where she is. I won't attack either of you two, but don't you dare try to stop me. I still see her as a threat, but I guess you both are free to think otherwise." She said.
The two nodded as they followed Raven, eventually leaving the Roost and safe zone as they went back into the danger zone.
As the three walked on, neither person said a single word which would end up getting on Raven's nerves a little as she turned to face Mei.
"This silence irks me. Say something girl. I know Alex isn't one to talk much but I know you aren't like that. I get that we're far from friends but I don't mind talking." She said.
Mei simply remained silent as Alex could only awkwardly chuckle in response.
Raven just sighed and decided not to push it any further.
"..........fine suit yourself. I'm tracking the Herrscher of the Void." She said before looking back ahead and smiling. "Bingo. Found some suitable targets."
Just up ahead of the trio was a group of Chariot-Class Honkai Beasts just roaming around and minding their own business.
"What so special about them?" Asked Mei.
"Well, nothing's special. Yet."
Raven's cape would flutter as she vanished in an instant and in the next second she suddenly appeared and began targeting one specific Honkai Beast.
This naturally attracted the attention of the others as Alex and Mei jumped straight into action, taking down the rest of the monsters and allowing Raven to focus on the one single beast she was attacking.
