"I am going to kill you Dylan Bailey!" Kate shouted over the phone

"What! Why?" Dylan shouted back acting clueless

"Why didn't you tell me?! Why didn't Taylor tell Tree?!"

"Because we didn't wanna tell anyone yet!"

"Oh Lord Jesus give me strength," Kate sighed over the phone causing Dylan to chuckle slightly, "What are you two wanting to do?"

"What?"

"Do you two want to go public or stay private and lie to the world?"

"Well, I'll leave that up to Taylor," Dylan shrugged

"You love to give me a lot of work don't you?"

"Well, what am I paying you for?" Dylan joked cashing Kate to let out a chuckle

"I'll contact Tree and we'll work on pushing the message out that you two aren't together,"

"Thank you Kate,"

"Are you happy with her?" Kate asked

"The happiest," Dylan smiled

"Well that's all that matters Dyl, I'll call you later okay?"

"Okay, bye Kate,"

"Bye Dylan,"

Dylan walked out of the bathroom and into the livingroom where Taylor was on a zoom meeting with Tree and the rest of her team,

"Ah, there she is," Tree's voice spoke

"Heyyy Tree, have you done something new with your hair?" Dylan said trying to flatter the woman

Taylor laughed at her attempt but quickly stopped when she saw Tree death stare her through the screen,

"I could kill both of you," Tree sighed

"We were careful! I don't know how they even seen us!" Dylan defended

"Well they always find away, the bastards," Tree sighed, "Taylor's already said you two don't want to go public?"

"No," Taylor replied

"What she said," Dylan nodded

"I'll get to work on squashing that article,"

"Thanks Tree," Taylor smiled

"Next time you two want to go out, tell me or Kate first,"

"Yes mam," Dylan replied

"Okay, Taylor the album—"

"—Dylan go away," Taylor said as she cut off Tree

"Wha—"

"—Go!" Taylor warned

"Fine," Dylan huffed as she stormed away like a sulky child

Tree laughed at the sight,

"I take it she doesn't know anything,"

"Nope, and it stays that way until it comes out," Taylor laughed

Dylan stood in the spare room of her house that she was currently using for an office. She had the perfect plan for Taylor's birthday present, which just so happened to be tomorrow.

Dylan called her Mum to convince her to keep Taylor distracted for the day, Taylor being Taylor didn't have a clue. So away she went out with Liza.
