"I came home as quickly as possible, what's going on?" He said barely just walking in the front door, you immediately told him to cover his eyes.

"Why do I need to cover my eyes baby? Uhm okay alright alright." He said, covering his eyes.

Earlier today you had been at the hairdresser and you had decided to cut a big chunk off your hair.

"Baby you texted me 911, it's an emergency please come home immediately!" He said slightly laughing

" It is an emergency!" You replied, taking his free hand and walking away and over to the bathroom.

" Oh wow , take it easy. "I'm blind here." He said as you almost crashed him into the wall.

" What's going on? Is it really an emergency?" He said, questioning your text

"It is Tom, why else would I have texted you that it was an emergency?" You said standing in front of him.

" Okay so can I take my hand off so I can see what's going on?" He asked

" I just need you to look at something and give me your opinion" you replied

" Okay, I can do that. I kind of just have to remove my hand so I can see." He answered, laughing at you.

" Okay just one second" you said, taking your hairbrush out and slowly brushing your hair.

" Okay I can give you a second - wait. You went to the hairdresser today, no baby, I haven't peaked!" He protested

" how do you know I cut my hair"  you questioned him

" I just assumed because of the tone you're using" he said laughing in between his words.

"Okay baby how many years have we been together? I mean how many haircuts have you had? Hmmm so I kind of know the drill" he said

" It's gotten nothing to do with it!" You said and put the hairbrush down on the counter top.

" Let me guess you went to the salon, told her you wanted something new and drastic. You came home. And now you don't like it." He said, still covering his eyes with one hand.
"Am I right?" He asked

"Maybe.." you said giggling

" Okay can I just take my hand off and just look?" He asked you

" No, you're going to hate it!" You protested!

He didn't listen and removed his hand, his eyes immediately opened wide and he stared at you in admiration.

" oh my God you look so good baby" he said touching your new haircut

"Really?" You asked back still not sure

" Yes sweetheart I don't- I don't hate it." He said, giving you a reassuring smile.

"I don't hate it, not even a little bit"

" You don't think it's too short?" You asked, wrapping your arms around his waist.

" What no baby, it's not too short, I mean it's short, but not that short." He said giving you small kisses on your face.
