You The last couple days Tom has been very distant, constantly working late.

I'm He was cold and ignored you most of the time, you thought he was just being very stressed but in the back of your mind you had a feeling that there was another woman.

But you didn't want to jump to conclusions, you wanted to speak with him later today.
It was also your birthday soon and you wanted to 'make up' with him before.

Around midnight you heard the front door open, and Tom stepping inside. You got out of bed and put your robe on, getting into the entry hall just staring at him.

"Welcome home baby" you said and he looked at you and just nodded before walking into the kitchen and sitting down.

You also walked into the kitchen and heated up his food in the oven, you tried to get a conversation going but he wasn't really interested.

"Tom, why are you acting like this? You're hurting my feelings!" You said looking directly at him, he was breathing deeply and just kept looking at his phone.

"Is there another woman?" You said lowly and just looked down fearing the answer.

He immediately stood up and came over to you, his hand cupping your cheek.

"Don't you ever think about that ever again, listen closely to me y/n. I have been acting differently because I have a surprise for you, and I'm scared I'll expose myself if I spend too much time with you." He said kissing your forehead and then kissing you softly pulling you in closer.

Letting out a shaky breath, you felt the weight on your shoulders lifting, cuddling into his chest.

"I was so afraid we would break up" you said, as he kept on assuring you that you would never break up and that you guys would grow old together.

Making you laugh "I don't want you too see me all wrinkled" making him laugh as well, his food was done warming up so you told him to sit back down and you served him his food, sitting down beside him.

A couple weeks later it was your birthday and you were just coming home from work when you finally opened the door and turned on the lights all your friends and family stood there with cake and birthday hats on screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU" you got scared, dropped the keys and then Tom came through the friends and family.

Kissing you all over, and hugging you whispering in your ear.
"This was the surprise baby" you immediately hugged him back feeling the tears welling up in your eyes.

"Thank you baby"
