Its beautiful morning in Seoul that chilly air and the bright sun, the chirping of birds and flower buds that are cropping up from the ground. All point to the beginning of spring." Seoul, new city and a new life!" Jennie says to herself. " there are so many things to discover experience to be had. I can't wait!" She says looking at her surroundings and giving a gummy smile to the pass by people walking on the road.
The wind flutter and lightly tosses her hairs to revel her earrings. "It feels as if Seoul is welcoming me! And it's one wonderful welcome." She breathes deep, taking in the promising air. "Everything just feels....right like I am meant to be here right now."
The view of the city skyline with the Han river in the distant sends her buzzing with excitement.
"Hello" Yunjin's annoyed tone pulls her out of her reverie. She realise that she completely tuned out her friend who was walking next to her. " I completely missed what she said for the last five minutes that I was a busy day dreaming about my bright future." she thought completely forgetting about what she said.
"Yes Lisa?" She said with a smile hoping that she don't mind her zoom out section. "Yes,and? Did you here anything just I said?"Lisa asked her angrily.
Lisa expectant stare weighs on her. Without skipping a beat, "well of course, I've been listening!" She can tell by Lisa doubtful, she does not believe her lame attempt at a cover up. " I Gotta admit, I kinda lost track for a while there." She admit it with a silly smile.
"I knew it. Your head is always up in the clouds, you know? And that's very annoying." Lisa yelled at her. Her face was red. "I know but I'm listening now." Jennie again smiled to cover up the up coming seen.
"You've got to really pay attention. What I have say is important." Lisa says to her the way her angry on a small thing made Jennie sad. "I'm sorry, Lisa" Jennie says to her going closer to Lisa. She try to brush off Lisa's annoyance. After all, she did let her talk to herself for a full five minutes.
"What was is that you were trying to tell me?" Jennie says with a cute smile on her face, facing Lisa. Lisa smiled at her cute smile and brush off her angry. " I was saying that Seoul is an expensive place to live. Getting a job is not easy as everyone is fighting for the same piece of meat."
Lisa interlocked her arm with Jennie's and started to walk on the road with Side to side each other. " I know every thing seems a bright and positive now, but it's a dog eat dog world out here you have to figure out a way to be self self sufficient fast." Lisa continue to talk.
" I know I have it all planned out" Jennie says looking at her said profile with a confident smile. " have you started thinking about a job?" Lisa asked looking at her.
"I have ... but I'm not exactly in a rush..." she says. "What do you mean?" Lisa asked surprisingly stoping both them to walk further.
" since this is the first time that I will live on my own after college, my mom and dad are going to support me during the first year. They understand the challenges that we are facing. Anyways, I am so lucky to have my parents on board with me."
" their financial support will help for me how to greatly while I try-to get my bearing in the new city" Jennie said proudly.
"Really? That so cool" Lisa says with a cheeky eyes. " yeah I know right since freshman year are living in Seoul has been my dream to be in the mid test of invitation and opportunity. My parents get that"
" very good for you, then for having such understanding parents!" Lisa says positively. " I have to head home to get ready for my flight is going to be a long trip so I need to pay my entire for wardrobe. I'm not a light travel it. That's for sure"
