It's weekend. Jennie just got back from her weekly workout session with Namjoon at the gym. As she reach her room, her phone rings, she peek at the screen and see that it's her mother calling.

"Hi mom! I was planning to call you later. How are you?"

"I'm good thanks"

"Are you okay mom? Is everything at home alright?"

"Everything is fine." She answered with a sad tone.

"But you don't exactly sound like your usual self." Jennie say feeling that something is wrong?

"What mom? What is this all about? I...i don't understand."

"I just found out that you extorted money form your dad in exchange for your silence regarding his tryst with his pert, young student."

That accusation scots her heart as if someone has slashed it with a razor-sharp knife.

I didn't expect mom to find out about my sly scheming, at least not this soon..

"So? Anything to say for yourself??" Her mother say angrily shouting on the phone call.

Honestly, she haven't even had the chance to consider the best way to claw herself out of the situation. But it looks like she have to say something now.

"Mom, listen . I'm sorry. But at the time, I was desperate for money after you cut me off financially.! I know that is not good reason; it was just an easy way out for me then..and I'm not proud of myself."

"I can't believe you did this while you were taking money from me too!" Her mother shout. The self-righteousness in her voice triggers something within Jennie and in that instance, she realise that her mother is not totally blameless in this situation.

"Mom, you do realise how we get to this situation in the first place... right?!"

"Yes. You went behind my back and took money from your dad to keep his affair a secret from me!" Her mother was just shouting at every word she was saying. Which triggered out Jennie.

"How about your own affair, Mom? Have you forgotten about that? Your memory that Richard- howard guy that I catch you at hotel with? Have you talked to dad about it?" Jennie say as angry start to overwhelm her.

"That's a completely different matter."

"Really ?! How so?"

There was a complete silence at the other end of the line. She can almost hear sound of her mother's heart shattering into pieces. Jennie's words have done their damage. There's no taking them back.

"Mom are you still there?"

She clears her throat. Perhaps in a bid to bide her time in order to gather her thoughts.

"Yes, I'm here and I just want to tell you that from this moment onwards, I will cease any form of monetary help for you. And that is my final decision." There is a click on the line, her mother had just hung up on her...

"Great, she makes it like I'm the one wrong here.." not a minute later her phone rings again, she first thoughts that it's her mother, calling back to continue the guilt trips. But to her surprise it was her FATHER.

"Dad?"

"That was very quick the fist ring wasn't even half way through." He said.

"I just got off the phone.." she replied.

"Oh..."

When her father drag out the response she immediately sense something dreadful looming around the corner.

"What is it dad? Something is definitely up, I can tell that.." her eyes were sadden.

"I can't believe that you lied to me.." the disappointment was clearly heard in his voice.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm the most untrustworthy in the family..what's new dad?" She was sad.

"Excuse me?" He says angrily..

"What's is it dad..you want to tell me.."

"I thought that we had an understanding regarding my complicated situation, i confided in you, Jennie. I couldn't believe that you turned on me." He is angry..

" you're complicated situation, what about my complicated situation? I was blindsided by you guys; thought you guys have my pet throughout my first year here?" She says frustrated. " but you dropped the bomb that don't be getting financial help I was promised on my first day in the city, then I haven't even unpacked my stuff yet!"

" I want tolerate, you are talking to me back in that tone."

She clam down her and regretting.. "I'm sorry dad.."

"admit that what we both did was wrong - both the affair and giving you the money in exchange of your silence when we said we wanted you to learn to be independent...so we have made the decision."

"I know. Since the cats are out of the bag, I won't be getting any more help from either you or Mom. Right?"

"Our intentions are good. The hardship that you will be facing in the beginning to overcome this will build your character."

"Oh fine dad..whatever.. Have the two of you talked to each other about the affairs?"

"You're mother and I are working on it..

"Okay.. I guess all we have problems to worry about.."

"Let's talk the next time, I'm nearby.."

"Yeah sure.."

"Take care darling..I love you"

"Love you too, dad"

Great, we are back at the square one again..

The new leaves her devastated and she spent the entire morning in self- pity. When jisoo swing by her apartment she suggested a double date at the nearby park with jisung.

After enjoying the sunset with jisung, he sends you home so you can quickly freshen up before dinner at his place. He promised to pick you up in another hour or so.

Jennie agreed and it was a nice taking to him which refreshed her mind. After having a nice taking with them she came back to the apartment in night..not that much..

"Hey you're back..we were just mentioning you earlier.." says jungkook.

"Hmm" Jennie look around and there was jimin and namjoon sitting on the sofa with him. "What we're you guys talking about.."
