Jennie mindlessly scrolling through her social media feed on the phone when Jisoo plops herself down in the seat right in front of her.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Jennie" jisoo apologies settling down in the seat.

"Don't worry. It's not like I'm rushing off to somewhere after this."

"But I'm though. Actually, I can only stay for ten minutes, tops. I'm meeting my manger from the influencer markiwting agency in about half an hour."

"Will you be available tonight then?" Jennie says with a huge smile on her face.

"I'm sorry...I already made plans with Paul tonight."

Crestfallen, Jennie could only manage to respond with an'oh'. Just minutes ago, she was pumped to share the news about her full time job with her best friend.

"But I'll make it up to you next week. My schedule will clear up a little bit by then. Does Tuesday sound good?"

It looks like I won't get to celebrate the news with jisoo tonight the way I hoped...

"Next week? I'm not sure about my schedule.. because you know, as a Marketing Strategist. I'm probably gonna be mush busier than an average intern there..

"Yeah, I understand, you'd probably be busy with work—wait a minute... Om. Em. Gee! So you've been offered a full time position? After interning for  only a mouth? Get out of here!" Jisoo shouted at her. The surprise with clearly seen in her eyes. Jennie laughed at her excitement.

"Yes! I can't believe it either."

"You must be that good! Oh, I'm so happy for you!! This is a big deal! But I've promised Paul that I'd go with him to this charity gala tonight. So I can't cancel at the last minute..." jisoo eyes sadden at the moment that she can't cancel the event to Paul.

"Don't cancel it; I don't want you to do that. We can celebrate some other time."

The two of them say good bye while promising to make plane to celebrate next Tuesday. Jennie whip out her phone and start to scroll down to search for Jimin's name. When she find it, she punch in the green dial button and wait as it begins to ring.

"Jennie?"

"Hey, Jimin. I was wondering if you have any plane this evening? I just received some good news this morning and was thinking of celebrating it with my closest friends tonight."

"You think of me as one of your closest friend... aww, I'm touched! Yeah, I'd honoured to celebrate the good news with you. What's the new?"

"I was offered a full time job at my internship . How cool is that?"

"That very cool! Is Jisoo coming?"

"No, she already has plans. But I'm planning to invite Namjoon and Jungkook along as well if they are available."

"Hum, nope."

"What do you mean nope."

"I don't think I can go out this evening, sorry." Jennie feel hurts while listening to this.

"Is that the only reason you hang out with me all this while? So that you can just use me to try to get close to my best friend?" Jennie shouted a little feeling uneasy with his statement.

"Wow, that's a huge blow. Because I really thought of you as one of my good friends."

"Come on, Jennie you are taking this way too personally." Jimin rolls his eyes on the other line.

"And can you blame me for that? I was so psyched to celebrate this win -however small it my be- with my real friends. You know what? I really thought that you were one of my closest friends, and that I could count on you. Boy, I was wrong, I was dead wrong." Without giving any time for Jimin to respond, She turn on her heels and start to walk towards her room.

She's walking beside Anna down the street. The two of them are heading towards an event hall where a conference on women's involvement in teach is taking place. Ann will be one of the speakers for the day. And she has enlisted Jennie's help at the very last minute to choose her outfit for the event.

"For someone so petite, you are quite a fast walker! I'm out of my breath trying to keep up with you, Anna!" Jennie said stopping taking heavy breathing.

"I did I agreed to this? I've never been good talking to a large crowd of people. I feel like having a panic attack right now. Screw this. I'm gonna turn around right now. I can't do this! Oh, I know! Let's go celebrate your goon new now!" Anna takes Jennie one arm and start dragging her backwards.

"Anna, stop it." Anna left her hand and turned around and her brisk walk has turned into a slow jog. Jennie run after her to stop her from running away.

When she finally catch up to her. She put her hand on Anna's shoulder to turn her to face Jennie. Jennie holds both of her shoulder and start to shake.

"Look, you gotta snap out of this! This is your fear talking. You can't let it win!"

"I'm having trouble breathing right now.."

"Just focus on slowing your breathing, you will be okay."anna does as she said and slowly, the colour begins to return to her face.

"Listen to me. You are going to walk into the conference and share your experience in front of young girls who are interested in a career in tech. You're going to inspire them."

"Can I do that?"

"Of course you can!"

"Oh well. That's, Jennie. I feel a lot better now. "

"Right   Let's go. We don't want to be late for the conference."

"Uhm, I think I got this. You don't need to keep me company. l'Il text you tomorrow and we can go out to celebrate you landing your first full time job!"

"Are you sure?"

" yeah, you have helped me enough you know, I am so lucky to have a friend like you."

" good luck,  Anna. You are going to crush it."

The two of them before parting ways and even though I she won't  be able to celebrate with her tonight. Her words make Jennie feel better about herself

Jennie hit 'send' and listen. She's waiting for Namjoon to pick up.

"Hey Jennie what's up?"

"Hi, Namjoon! Look, are you busy tonight? I was thinking if gathering a few friends tonight for a small celebration."

"Oh, what's the occasion?"

"I got offered to a full time position at the company where I'm doing my internship."

"Jennie, that is great news! I'm so happy for you! But I'm working the late shift today at the gym. I'm really sorry that I won't be able to celebrate the great news with you tonight..."

" Ann, I see. Don't worry about it. I understand that you have to work."

"I feel bad because this is really big deal for you..."

When Jennie speak next, she try to put in a cheerful voice, hoping that it'll mask her disappointment.

"It's okay, we can always go grab a drink some other time with he rest of the gang."
