Luke's pov:
We were now in an air speeder making our way to the dinner. Leia was wearing a long floral white dress with her hair in an extravagant yet elegant up-do. I was wearing some new robes (that looked a lot better than the ones I had been wearing the past few days) with my hair styles slightly more than earlier.
Han was wearing... well the same thing. He had buttoned up one more button and combed through his hair but nothing other than that changed. To add to this, I could tell Leia was not happy about it.
We arrived at the grand building that looked as if it was leaning over you when you looked up. Me and Han were both staring up in awe when Leia said, "Let's Not wait for the next rotation, come on!" She hurried us inside.
We both quickly nodded and rushed in after her. It was filled with senators and politicians wearing their finest clothes. The busy suttee chatter was slightly overwhelming but I began to get used to it.
Leia had already made her way over to a Senator (taking to him about politics I assume) while Han followed her like a lost puppy. I sighed and turned my head spotting the drinks table. I promised myself I would stay sober but one drink couldn't hurt right?
I tried to sneakily make my way over to the table and I grabbed a tall glass. Standing by the wall I observed everything that was going on : there were lots of senators who were sucking up to senators, then there was the other people invited who had no idea what was going on. The just smiled and nodded instead. I was one of those people.
Up on the platform someone silenced everyone by tapping a glass, "The tables have been laid and the starter shall be ready soon if you would like to sit down to your assigned tables." I presumed the woman speaking was the hostess of all this.
I looked around the room trying to find Leia, she would know where I was sitting. Once I had found her I rushed over to her joining Han by her side as we walked. "Are we sat together?" I asked.
She nodded, "Yes of course. There are three others to my knowledge." She looked on the seating chart which was well set out. She pointed, "Found it."
We began making our way to our table. They were rectangle tables with white clothes and six seats total. Leia and Han sat next to each other but before I could sit next to Leia another Senator had already taken the seat. I was forced to sit opposite Han who smirked at me.
Leia was leading the conversation with the other three with Han making a few comments along the way. I however stayed silent. I sat listening to their conversation (sometimes averting my gaze to Han when he wasn't looking).
I felt something though. His heel was between my legs. My breath hitched. That cheeky bastard. Uncomfortably I nodded when a Senator spoke to me and then I shot a glare at Han whose foot was slowly moving back and forth.
He stared at me with innocent eyes as if he couldn't possibly see what he was doing and then shrugged. The smiled was wiped off my face as his heel moved faster and my eyes widened. I quickly covered my mouth to stop anything from escaping. Luckily everyone's attention was on Leia though so no one noticed.
I heard him snicker slightly and his foot slowed down and stopped pressing so hard. I suppressed a whimper from the loss of contact and he could tell I heard for his heel back there.
A different time though! I mean come on! He was getting me off with his heel in a hall full of people. I bit my lip as he applied more pressure and blinked for slightly too long.
One of the senators turned to me, "So your Leia's brother right?" I was awoken out of my trance and cleared my throat.
"Yes I-" my voice spike as Han sped up his heel, "am. Sorry I don't know what happened there." I shot Han another glance warning him to stop now, however he did not.
I wasn't listening to what the Senator was saying as Han kept his pace. I knew I was going to slip up soon and just before I did I kicked his leg off me making a bang under the table.
Everyone's heads turned to us. "Sorry... there was a... bug crawling up my leg." I said apologetically. Han seemed to take the hint now and kept to himself. However he kept shooting me little glances and smirking. Something was on his mind, he wanted something more later.
Time skip brought to you by... that.
~;~;~;~We had finished our meals and people were back to standing around the entrance hall bragging about they're new business, or campaign, or charity. Just like before, I was standing by myself with another drink in hand. I had only drank two glasses though so I was still relatively sober.
As I was staring off into space Leia swiftly approached me with a worried expression plastered on her face. "Could we speak privately please?" She asked.
Oh shit. She knows doesn't she? She saw what happened earlier and asked Han and he spilled didn't he? That bastard. "Yes of course." I followed the direction she was walking.
She lead me to a balcony where we stood in the chilling evening air alone. She sighed, "Can I ask a favour?"
Oh. This wasn't what I thought it was then, "Of course, anything." ... to make-up for sleeping with your husband...multiple times.
She looked out across the busy, brightly lit city, "Han has had a few drinks and is shit faced. By a few I mean almost half the table." She leaned on the ledge.
"I thought you were keeping an eye on him?" I asked. After saying it I became aware of how rude it sounded but it was too late to take it back now.
"I tried. Before dinner he slipped off and had a few and then had some during dinner and then after." She clarified.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked joining her leaning against the ledge.
"I cant deal with drunk Han." She sighed, "He's rude, he's angry, he's pushy, he's-" she stopped and thought about her next words, "Could I take your room and you share with Han?"
Oh shit. I knew exactly what would happen if we did and I didn't want that for Leia. However this also makes Leia happy so what do I say, "Sure." I smiled.
She let out a breath of relief, "Thank you so much." She hugged me, "Would you mind taking him now though? Before he embarrasses himself or me." She looked off to the side, "Thats probably not the right way to speak about my future husband."
"Your future husband is smashed right now, that doesn't really matter. Could I have the hotel room key card?" I asked. She nodded and handed me a white metal rectangle.
"Thank you again." She smiled.
"No problem. Where is he though?" I asked.
"He's in the bathroom. I made him go so that he couldn't do anything with or to the senators. He'll be out in a minute." She informed me.
I nodded, "I'll go get him now then. See you in the morning Leia, have a good rest of your evening." I smiled walking away and she nodded back to me in response.
I shuffled my way through the busy crowds until I eventually found the bathrooms. I waited outside the door until Han opened it, "Luke." He softly smiled.
"Han." I nodded.
"What are you...?" Doing here? He knew that was a stupid question to ask.
I grabbed his forearm and began pulling him to the door, "We are going back to the hotel now. Fun's over." I said unamused remembering what he had done earlier.
He smirked at me, "I'd say the fun's just begun."
