"I'm saying we need a new plan, because next time, one of us is going to be too hurt to heal." Derek told Scott as Scott followed him around the railroad
"Ugh, I get it-- we can't save Jackson." Scott sighed
"We can't seem to kill him, either. I've seen a lot of things, Scott. I've never seen anything like this. Every new moon's just gonna make him stronger."
"But how do we stop him?"
"I don't know. I don't even know if we can."
"Maybe we should just let the Argents handle it..."
"I'm the one who turned him. It's my fault."
"Yeah, but you didn't turn him into this! I mean, this happened because of something in his past, right?"
"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple."
"What do you mean? What aren't you telling me?"
"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"
"Because you always are keeping something from me!" Scott yelled, annoyed
"Well, maybe I do it to protect you."
"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets?"
"Go home, Scott. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe... 'Cause the full moon's coming, and with the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one." Derek sighed before walking away. Scott watched him walk away for a moment before sighing and turning around, walking away.

Marisa laid on her bed staring at the wall when she heard a knock at the door. She sat up
"Come in" she spoke. Scott opened the door and walked in
"Hey" he whispered. Marisa looked down, dropping her legs off the side of the bed
"Hey" she spoke. Scott shut the door behind her and walked over, sitting down besides her
"R u ok?" He asked. Marisa shrugged
"Just another day in the life" she answered. Scott looked at her sympathetically and when Marisa caught sight of his look, she stood up with a sigh
"Don't look at me like that" she told him
"Like what?" Scott asked confused. Marisa turned to face him
"Like u feel bad for me"
"I do feel bad for u. Ur mom tried to kill u tonight..and now she's gonna die" Scott spoke and Marisa looked away. She shrugged again and turned, messing with something on her dresser behind her
"Like I said.." she sighed "just another day in the life" she told him. Scott looked at her sadly for a moment before standing up
"What r we gonna do ab what happened?" Scott asked. Marisa sighed, turning to face him
"What r u talking ab?" She asked. Scott looked at her wide eyed, giving her a look like she should remember. He sighed at her not getting it
"Ab the kiss" he answered. Marisa tensed up and looked away from him. She shrugged
"We both thought we were gonna die. It...it was a goodbye kiss. That's all" she told him. Scott looked at her sadly
"It was more than that and u know it" he told her quietly making Marisa tense up again as she looked down
"Ur dating my sister, Scott. The sister that's ab to lose her mother. She's gonna need u" Marisa told her and Scott sighed
"But what ab u, huh?" He asked
"I don't need anybody" Marisa shook her head as she spoke quietly but sternly
"Every time u say that, ur lying" Scott told her and Marisa looked at him, slightly annoyed
