Sunny was helpless. A few worms stayed back, ready to restrain Sunny if he made a break for it. There was no way out, and the face of Alexia was moving, but not toward Olivia. It was moving its face, instead, as if ready to puke. The Alexia-worm began gargling, but Sunny realized it was attempting to use its vocal chords to produce another noise: laughter.
