The face of Alexia split open, tangentially reminding Sunny of that show he'd seen: Stranger Things. The Alexia-thing's face opened—flowered, even— like a rose in springtime, revealing a gaping, cavernous throat. There was something emerging from deep within her face-throat, and it wasn't just the screaming of seemingly thousands of people. It was a red light. Then the thing emitting said-light revealed itself. However, even as Sunny stared, horribly mesmerized, he realized something: the thing that had come out of Alexia's gullet was not emitting the light at all. It was merely reflecting it from somewhere else.
